Gujarat-based solar company Ahasolar Technologies has secured a work order from Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology (MAHAPREIT) to provide consultancy services for 30 MW of distributed grid-connected rooftop solar projects in Goa.

The project involves implementing rooftop solar systems at various government buildings across the state. The project must be executed within 15 months of receipt of the work order.

The estimated project cost is ₹24.8 million (~$263,695). The tender was issued in March 2024.

Ahasolar will act as the project monitoring consultant for the implementation of the solar projects, covering technical, financial, and operational aspects. Its responsibilities include overseeing project planning, monitoring progress, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, and supporting system commissioning.

The scope of work also includes preparing detailed project reports for the rooftop solar installations. In addition, the assignment involves supporting the development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure at 30 locations across the state.

The company will conduct site surveys, system design, and cost estimation for the proposed installations. It will also carry out financial feasibility assessments.

As part of the implementation phase, Ahasolar will oversee project execution, including compliance management, performance testing, and system commissioning.

The company provides software for solar installers to manage and design projects. It is also an online marketplace for buying and selling solar products and services.

Last December, Ahasolar Technologies received a work order to provide owner’s engineering and project management consultancy services for an 875 MW solar power project from Coal India Rajasthan Akshay Urja.

In August 2025, the company secured a project management consultancy contract from Singareni Collieries Company for establishing a 107 MW solar power project.

In September 2024, Ahasolar Technologies received a letter of intent from Coal India for an owner’s engineer-cum-project management consultancy contract for a 300 MW solar power project in Khavda, Gujarat.
