Adani Green’s Q4 Revenue Up 13.7% YoY, Backed by Capacity Expansion

The company posted a profit of ₹5.14 billion during the quarter

Adani Green Energy’s (AGEL) revenue increased by 13.7% year-over-year (YoY) to ₹37.27 billion (~$396.22 million) in the fourth quarter (Q4) of the financial year (FY) 2026, from ₹32.78 billion (~$348.49 million) a year ago.

The growth was primarily driven by greenfield capacity additions of 5.1 GW in FY26, deployment of advanced renewable technologies, strong plant performance, and commissioning of new capacity at resource-rich sites in Khavda, Gujarat, and Rajasthan.

Profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter stood at ₹5.14 billion (~$54.64 million), an 34.2% YoY increase from ₹3.83 billion (~$40.72 million) the previous year.

AGEL’s earnings per share (EPS) came in at ₹2.33 (~$0.025) in Q4 FY 2026, compared to an EPS of ₹1.26 (~$0.013) in Q4 FY 2025, an increase of 84.9% YoY.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) from power supply grew by 20% YoY to ₹29.44 billion (~$312.98 million) from ₹24.53 billion (~$260.78 million) the previous year.

Sagar Adani, Executive Director at Adani Green Energy, said, “The company commissioned 5.1 GW of greenfield capacity, thereby reaching 19.3 GW of total operational capacity. On the battery storage side, we installed 1.4 GWh of capacity in FY26.”

Financial Year 2026

AGEL posted revenue of ₹138.2 billion (~$1.47 billion) for FY26, an increase of 11.3% YoY from ₹124.2 billion (~$1.32 billion) the previous year.

The company posted a profit of ₹19.87 billion (~$211.24 million), down 0.7% YoY from ₹20.01 billion (~$212.73 million) the previous year.

The  EPS came in at ₹9.65 (~$0.102), up 15.3% YoY from ₹8.37 (~$0.089) the previous year.

EBITDA from power supply grew by 23% YoY to ₹108.7 billion (~$1.16 billion) from ₹88.18 billion (~$937.45 million) the previous year.

The company increased its operational capacity by 35% to 19.294 GW.

The company’s energy sales increased by 34% YoY to 37,567 million units during the year.

AGEL added 5.051 GW greenfield capacity in FY26, which is 1.5 times the capacity addition in FY25. The additions included 3.412 GW of solar capacity, 683 MW of wind capacity in Khavda, and 956 MW of solar-wind hybrid capacity, also in Khavda.

The company added 1.4 GWh of battery storage capacity in FY26.

AGEL is steadily progressing in the development of the 30 GW renewable energy plant at Khavda in Gujarat. This is spread over an area of 538 square km.

Adani Green Energy was the top utility-scale solar for 2025, according to Mercom’s recently released India Solar Market Leaderboard 2026.

The company posted a revenue of ₹24.2 billion in Q3 of FY 2026, a 21% YoY increase from ₹19.93 billion.
