					</table><p>Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (<a href="https://energy.rajasthan.gov.in/jvvnl/#/home/dptHome" target="_blank" rel="noopener">JVVNL</a>) has invited bids to install and commission 50.71 MW of grid-connected solar power projects under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyaan (PM-KUSUM) program for feeder-level solarization.</p>
<p>The projects will be developed under the renewable energy service company (RESCO) model.</p>
<p>The successful bidder will also have to develop the associated 33 kV or 11 kV line to connect the projects with various 33/11 kV substations under the jurisdiction of JVVNL.</p>
<p>The developer must provide a remote monitoring system and operation and maintenance of the projects for 25 years.</p>
<p>The last date for submission of bids online is October 26, 2023. Bids will be opened on October 30.</p>
<p>The project’s estimated cost is ₹35 million (~$421,124)/MW.</p>
<p>Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹100,000 (~$1,203)/MW of the quoted capacity.</p>
<p>The successful bidders must submit a performance bank guarantee of ₹500,000 (~$6,016)/MW of the allotted capacity.</p>
<p>A power purchase agreement for 25 years, at the levelized tariff approved by the <a href="https://rerc.rajasthan.gov.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission</a>, is to be executed between the selected bidder and <a href="https://energy.rajasthan.gov.in/content/raj/energy-department/rajasthan-urja-vikas-nigam-ltd-/en/home.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam</a> within seven days of submission of the performance bank guarantee.</p>
<p>The projects must be commissioned within nine months from the date of signing of the power purchase agreement.</p>
<p>For landowners, farmers, or any individual with or without required land for the project, an undertaking certifying ownership of movable and immovable assets worth at least 20% of the total cost of the quoted capacity by the bidder must be submitted.</p>
<p>Individuals or firms should have a minimum annual average turnover of at least 30% of the total cost of quoted capacity in the last three financial years.</p>
<p>JVVNL has mandated using indigenously manufactured solar modules to ensure domestic content requirement.</p>
<p>The solar power generator will have to bear the cost of installing the solar modules and associated equipment as may be necessary to achieve the required minimum capacity utilization factor of 19%.</p>
<p>Last month, the Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/rajasthan-discom-invites-bids-solar-projects-under-kusum" target="_blank" rel="noopener">floated</a> a tender for developing 31.96 MW grid-connected solar power projects under Component C of the PM-KUSUM program.</p>
<p>Earlier, JVVNL had <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/rajasthan-bids-245-mw-solar-projects-under-kusum" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids for the installation and commissioning of 347 MW of grid-connected solar projects under Component C of the PM-KUSUM program.</p>
