					</table><p>Haryana-based solar module manufacturer <a href="https://saatvikgroup.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Saatvik Green Energy</a>’s material subsidiary, Saatvik Solar Industries, has secured orders worth approximately ₹5 billion (~$55.87 million) over the past month to supply high-efficiency solar modules to undisclosed customers in the independent power producer (IPP) and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) segments.</p>
<p>The total contract value comprises three orders, worth ₹1.77 billion (~$20.04 million), ₹3 billion (~$33.8 million), and ₹180 million (~$2.03 million).</p>
<p>The company is expected to complete the order worth ₹3 billion (~$33.8 million) between December 2025 and March 2026, and the order worth ₹180 million (~$2.03 million) by December 2025.</p>
<p>As of June 30, 2025, the company has a module capacity of approximately 3.8 GW with an additional 1 GW under expansion at Ambala, Haryana. It is also developing a greenfield facility in Odisha with 4 GW solar modules and 4.8 GW cell manufacturing capacity.</p>
<p>In October 2025, Saatvik <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/saatvik-green-receives-solar-module-orders-worth-%E2%82%B97-billion-2" target="_blank" rel="noopener">received</a> orders worth approximately ₹6.9 billion (~$78.05 million) to supply high-efficiency solar modules to undisclosed Indian IPPs and EPC contractors. It received the orders in two sets.</p>
<p>One set of orders is worth ₹506.2 million (~$5.73 million) received by Saatvik Green Energy. This will be completed by November 2025. The second, worth ₹6.39 billion (~$72.34 million), was received by Saatvik Solar Industries. This is to be executed by June 2026.</p>
<p>In the same month, Saatvik Green Energy <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/saatvik-green-receives-solar-module-orders-worth-%E2%82%B97-billion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">received</a> orders worth approximately ₹7.07 billion (~$79.62 million) to supply solar modules to undisclosed IPPs and EPC contractors.</p>
<p>In June 2025, Saatvik Solar Industries <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/saatvik-begins-work-on-4-8-gw-solar-cell-and-4-gw-module-facility-in-odisha" target="_blank" rel="noopener">commenced</a> construction of its solar cell and module manufacturing facility in Odisha. The facility will have the capacity to manufacture 4.8 GW of solar cells and 4 GW of solar modules. Saatvik Green Energy <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/jinko-waaree-longi-trina-adani-lead-solar-module-supply-in-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">emerged</a> as one of the top leading Indian module suppliers in 2024, according to Mercom’s India Solar Market Leaderboard 2025.</p>


Saatvik Secures Orders Worth ₹5 Billion for Supplying Solar Modules

					</table><p>Noida-based wind energy solutions company <a href="https://inoxwind.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Inox Wind</a> has secured wind turbine orders for a total capacity of 229 MW from undisclosed renewable energy companies.</p>
<p>The company has received orders for 160 MW of its 3.3 MW wind turbine generators, which comprise 112 MW of firm orders with the option to extend by 48 MW for projects under development across multiple sites. These orders include limited-scope engineering, procurement, and construction services, as well as multi-year operations and maintenance post project commissioning.</p>
<p>The company said it has also secured a repeat order worth 69 MW for a Maharashtra-based project from a global clean energy company.  This order follows another one received in March 2025 for a capacity of 153 MW from the same company.</p>
<p>Sanjeev Agarwal, CEO at Inox Wind, stated, “We are also in advanced stages of discussions with multiple other customers and should secure additional orders soon, with a target to close the financial year 2026 at a net orderbook covering our execution plans for the subsequent 18-24 months.”</p>
<p>Inox Wind, part of the Inox GFL Group, operates four wind turbine manufacturing facilities in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, with a combined annual production capacity of approximately 2.5 GW. It manufactures all key components of wind turbine generators in-house, which include blades, tubular towers, hubs, nacelles, and other critical parts.</p>
<p>Last month, Inox Wind <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/inox-wind-to-invest-%E2%82%B94-billion-in-wind-blade-manufacturing-unit-in-karnataka" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced</a> that it would invest ₹4 billion (~$45.09 million) in establishing a wind turbine blade manufacturing unit in Kushtagi, Koppal district, Karnataka.</p>
<p>The project includes an initial investment of ₹3 billion (~$33.82 million) to set up the blade manufacturing plant, followed by an additional ₹1 billion (~$11.27 million) for wind tower fabrication. The facility will be developed on 70 acres of land in Kyadiguppa village.</p>
<p>Inox Wind <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/higher-order-execution-drives-inox-winds-revenue-up-32-yoy-in-q1-fy-2026" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> a revenue of ₹8.63 billion (~$98.57 million) in the first quarter of the financial year 2026, a 32% year-over-year increase from ₹6.55 billion (~$74.87 million).</p>


Inox Wind Secures Orders for 229 MW of Wind Turbine Generators

					</table><p>Solar module manufacturer <a href="https://waaree.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Waaree Energies</a> has secured separate orders to supply 220 MW, 210 MW, and 140 MW of solar modules from undisclosed customers engaged in owning, developing, and operating renewable power projects in India.</p>
<p>The company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Waaree Solar Americas, has also received orders to supply 122 MW modules from a developer and owner-operator of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects across the U.S.</p>
<p>Waaree said these orders will be completed by the financial years (FY) 2026 and FY 2027.</p>
<p>The company’s manufacturing capacity <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/waaree-energies-income-up-q2-fy-2026" target="_blank" rel="noopener">comprises</a> 18.7 GW of solar modules and 5.4 GW of solar cells. It has an order book of approximately 24 GW, worth approximately ₹470 billion (~$5.35 billion).</p>
<p>Waaree’s quarterly module production stood at 2.6 GW, compared to 1.9 GW in the second quarter (Q2) of FY 2025.</p>
<p>The company recently <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/waaree-energies-commissions-950-mw-solar-module-plant-in-gujarat" target="_blank" rel="noopener">commenced</a> commercial operations at its 950 MW solar module manufacturing plant in the Navsari district of Gujarat.</p>
<p>It has also announced building upstream capacity in ingots and wafers up to 10 GW by FY 2027.</p>
<p>In June, Waaree Solar Americas <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/waaree-solar-secures-540-mw-solar-module-order-from-us-developer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">received</a> an order to supply 540 MW of solar modules from a U.S.-based developer of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. Of the total 540 MW, 270 MW will be supplied by the end of 2025. The remaining 270 MW will be supplied between 2027 and 2028.</p>
<p>In the same month, the company <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/waaree-bags-599-mw-module-supply-order-from-us-solar-developer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">secured</a> a supply order for 599 MW of solar modules from another U.S.-based solar developer. It stated that the modules would be manufactured in Waaree’s manufacturing facility in Brookshire, Texas. The modules are expected to be delivered by 2026.</p>
<p>According to Mercom’s India Solar Market Leaderboard 2025, Waaree Energies <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/waaree-bags-599-mw-module-supply-order-from-us-solar-developer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">topped</a> the list of leading Indian module suppliers in 2024. The company accounted for 10.7% of module supply in India.</p>
<p>Waaree <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/waaree-energies-subsidiary-to-set-up-lithium-ion-storage-cell-plant" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invested</a> ₹3 billion (~$33.79 million) in its subsidiary, Waaree Energy Storage Solutions, to establish a lithium-ion advanced chemistry storage cell manufacturing plant.</p>

					</table><p>Global wind turbine orders recorded a 12% year-over-year increase in the first half (1H) of 2023 with 69.5 GW of order activity, according to the global research and consultancy group <a href="https://www.woodmac.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Wood Mackenzie</a>.</p>
<p>The analysis by the group revealed the increased offshore order activity and the orders from outside of China driving the increase, up 47% year-over-year (YoY) increase to over 25 GW.</p>
<p>Wind turbine orders in North America alone reached 7.7 GW, a 305% YoY jump from 1.9 GW. Of these, two offshore wind turbine orders in the region accounted for 49% of the total capacity.</p>
<p>Luke Lewandowski, Vice President of Global Renewables Research at Wood Mackenzie, said, “Supply chain challenges remain, but conditions have improved enough to spark procurement decisions. Momentum from the Inflation Reduction Act in the U.S. has helped to motivate order activity, although increasing clarity and market certainty will drive an even larger volume.”</p>
<p>China continues to dominate the market, with 44 GW of order activity recorded during the first half of 2023. The total orders in Q2 accounted for $25.3 billion and $40.5 billion in 1H 2023.</p>
<p>Lewandowski added, “China’s intake continues to be incredibly impressive as well, even with activity remaining flat through the first half of the year. Demand in the global offshore market, particularly in the U.S. and Europe, has been one of the main drivers of this growth.”</p>

<p>The order capacity for offshore wind turbines was recorded at 12 GW during 1H 2023, a 26% YoY increase. It accounted for 17% of all wind turbine order capacity.</p>
<p>During the second quarter alone, the offshore wind turbine orders witnessed a 48% YoY increase, totaling 9.1 GW.</p>
<p>According to Lewandowski, the offshore wind market momentum has been building for some time now, and many deals were conditional as project developers waited for approvals.</p>
<p>He said, “We saw several really big deals officially reach a final investment decision in Q2, including orders of 2,640 MW and 1,176 MW in North America, which helped drive the record numbers and breathe some life into these markets.”</p>
<p>The analysis considers it significant that these deals were confirmed during a difficult time for the wind original equipment manufacturers and amidst the cancellation of several offtake agreements for large projects.</p>
<p>Envision recorded the highest order intake during 1H 2023 with 9.7 GW, followed by Windey at 8.7 GW and Siemens Gamesa at 8.2 GW.</p>
<p>Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy gained the top spot in new order capacity across both the onshore and offshore sectors, with 5.9 GW recorded in Q2 alone. The company set an offshore intake quarterly record with its SG 14.X DD turbine.</p>
<p>Goldwind ranked second with 4.9 GW of order activity during Q2, followed by Windey at 4.4 GW.</p>
<p>A recent Horizons report from Wood Mackenzie <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/global-offshore-wind-supply-billion-investment-by-2026" target="_blank" rel="noopener">suggested</a> that the global supply chain would need a secured investment of $27 billion by 2026 to achieve a fivefold increase in the annual offshore wind installations outside of China by 2030.</p>
<p>In India, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy recently <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/mnre-strategy-developing-offshore-wind-projects" target="_blank" rel="noopener">formulated</a> three models for developing offshore wind energy projects, especially along the country’s extreme southern and western shorelines.</p>
