					</table><p><a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/seci-invites-bids-of-ists-connected-wind-projects" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a tender for selecting project developers to set up 1.3 GW inter-state transmission system (ISTS)-connected wind power projects (Tranche-XV) in India on a build own operate basis.</strong></a> The scope of the work includes identifying land, installation, and ownership of the project, along with obtaining connectivity and necessary approvals and interconnection with the ISTS network for power supply to SECI. The last date for the submission of bids is September 20, 2023.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/maharashtra-net-metering-cap-1-mw-rooftop-solar-projects" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>The Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission has proposed amendments to the net and gross metering rules under the state’s Grid Interactive Rooftop Renewable Energy Generating</strong></a> Systems Regulations, 2019. One notable proposed amendment is that under the net metering arrangement, the renewable energy generation system’s capacity would be capped at either 1 MW or the consumer’s contract demand, whichever is lower.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/sterling-and-wilson-wins-epc-solar-project-from-gipcl" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy has been awarded the letter of intent from Gujarat Industries Power Company for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC)</strong></a> of a 600 MW solar power project at the Khavda Solar Park. The project comprises two 300 MW blocks involving design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and a three-year operation and maintenance contract.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/iredas-q1-profit-up-non-performing-assets-reduce" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>The government-owned lender Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) has reported a profit after tax of ₹2.95 billion (~$35.54 million) for the first quarter of the financial year (FY)</strong></a> 2024, an increase of 30% year-over-year (YoY). The quarter saw a significant reduction in the net NPAs to 1.61% from 2.92% during the same period last year, representing a 45% YoY drop. Over the previous year, IREDA’s loan book expanded to ₹472.07 billion (~$5.69 billion) as of June 30, 2023, showcasing a 44% YoY growth from ₹326.79 billion (~$3.94 billion).</p>
<p><a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/ev-charging-chargemod-%E2%82%B925-million-product-growth" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Kerala-based electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions startup chargeMOD has raised ₹25 million (~$301,291) from Phoenix Angels in a pre-seed investment round.</strong></a> The company plans to direct the funds to accelerate its product growth and expand the services for the country’s EV sector. chargeMOD’s portfolio currently includes managing more than 2,000 EV chargers ranging from home and commercial use charging points. It has also developed a mobile application to track nearby charging stations.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/rumsl-floats-tender-projects-at-thermal-project-sites" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Rewa Ultra Mega Solar has floated a tender to develop 114 MW ground-mounted solar power projects at Madhya Pradesh Power Generation Company’s</strong></a> thermal power project sites in three different districts. The last date for the submission of bids is September 22, 2023. Bids will be opened on the same day. The proposed solar power capacities for the three thermal power generating stations are as follows: Site A, known as the Sanjay Gandhi Thermal Power Station, located in Birsinghpur, is set to have a solar project with a capacity of 31.6 MW.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/railways-1-mw-rooftop-chhattisgarh" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Raipur Division of South East Central Railway has invited bids for state-wise empanelment of agencies to implement grid-connected rooftop solar power projects of 1.020 MW capacity</strong></a> at its yards and workshops through public-private partnership and on a design, build, finance, operate, and transfer basis. The projects would be developed in two capacity ranges— more than 10 kW and up to 100 kW, and more than 100 kW and up to 500 kW. The projects must be commissioned within 240 days of receiving the work order.</p>
<p><a href="https://mercomindia.com/jodhpur-discom-issues-solar-projects-under-kusum/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam has floated two tenders to develop 65.96 MW solar power projects across its different subdivisions in Bikaner under the Component C of the Pradhan Mantri</strong></a> Kisan Urja Suraksha Evam Utthan Mahabhiyan program for feeder level solarization. The two tenders include 34.24 MW solar power projects across the Khajuwala and Chattargarh subdivisions of Khajuwala Division under the Bikaner circle and 31.72 MW solar power projects in Bajju, Lunkaransar, and rural Bikaner subdivisions of DD-I Bikaner and DD-II Bikaner division under the Bikaner circle.</p>
