					</table><p><a href="https://sjvn.nic.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">SJVN</a> has announced the winners of the auction to procure power from 600 MW of interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected wind power projects (Phase-IV).</p>
<p>Green Prairie Energy Six (<a href="https://egreenpwr.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">EverGreen Power</a>), <a href="https://refexrenewables.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Refex Green Power</a>, Adyant Enersol (<a href="https://www.dattainfra.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Datta Infra</a>), and <a href="https://www.nlcindia.in/website/en/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NLC India Renewables</a> bagged 70 MW, 80 MW, 150 MW, and 200 MW, respectively, at a tariff of ₹3.88 (~$0.0409)/kWh.</p>

<p>The tender was <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/sjvn-invites-bids-to-procure-power-from-600-mw-wind-projects" target="_blank" rel="noopener">floated</a> in September last year.</p>
<p>The scope of work covers setting up the projects, including the transmission network up to the interconnection/delivery point.</p>
<p>The successful bidders must also install and maintain a GPS-enabled automatic weather station.</p>
<p>SJVN will sell the power generated by the wind projects to Punjab State Power Corporation or other purchasing entities.</p>
<p>The projects must be designed for interconnection at the ISTS substation at a voltage level of at least 220 kV.</p>
<p>The successful developers must obtain ISTS connectivity. Because transmission system availability is dynamic, they must ensure actual availability of power injection/evacuation capacity at an ISTS substation.</p>
<p>Only commercially established, operational technologies must be used in the projects to minimize technology risk and achieve timely commissioning.</p>
<p>Only wind turbines listed in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers must be used in the project.</p>
<p>The successful bidders must maintain a capacity utilization factor (CUF) of at least 22%.</p>
<p>Projects under construction, yet to be commissioned, or those commissioned and selling power on a short-term merchant basis will be considered eligible. However, these projects must not have been accepted under any state or central programs.</p>
<p>If the successful bidders fail to supply the full bid capacity by the scheduled commencement of supply date, they may offer a partially commissioned project of up to 50 MW.</p>
<p>In March this year, KPI Green Energy, Urdhvaga Renewables India Project (UPC Renewables), Adyant Enersol (Datta Infra), and Lambent Energy (Eight) <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/kpi-green-urdhvaga-adyant-enersol-lambent-win-sjvns-600-mw-wind-auction" target="_blank" rel="noopener">won</a> SJVN’s auction to set up 600 MW interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected wind projects.</p>
<p>Last year, NLC India and Adyant Enersol <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/nlc-india-and-adyant-enersol-win-sjvns-600-mw-wind-auction" target="_blank" rel="noopener">won</a> SJVN’s auction to set up 600 MW ISTS-connected wind power projects.</p>

<p>Adyant Enersol won 100 MW at a tariff of ₹6.27 (~$0.0694)/kWh.</p>
<p>Serentica Renewables India and AMPIN Energy Utility Nine won 600 MW and 199 MW, respectively, at a tariff of ₹6.28 (~$0.0695)/kWh.</p>
<p>ACME Solar Holdings won 301 MW at a tariff of ₹6.28 (~$0.0695) under the bucket-filling method.</p>

<p>The tender was <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/seci-invites-bids-for-1200-mw-4800-mwh-of-peak-power-supply" target="_blank" rel="noopener">floated</a> in October 2025.</p>
<p>The scope of work encompasses ensuring a daily supply of 4,000 kWh/MW of contracted capacity during four peak hours as selected by the buying entity. Of the 4 hours, the power must be supplied continuously for at least 1 hour.</p>
<p>Winners can source up to 5% of renewable energy annually from green market sources/bilateral agreements to meet the minimum supply mandate.</p>
<p>The project’s scope also covers identifying the land, setting up the project, and obtaining statutory approvals.</p>
<p>It also includes securing connectivity arrangements with the interstate transmission system/state transmission unit.</p>
<p>Winners must bear all transmission-related costs, including wheeling charges, losses, and operations and maintenance costs up to the interconnection point.</p>
<p>They must commence the supply of power within 24 months of the date of signing the power purchase agreement (PPA).</p>
<p>The projects must use only commercially established and operational technologies to minimize technology risk and ensure timely commissioning.</p>
<p>Both the renewable generation components and the energy storage system must be co-located.</p>
<p>The projects must use solar modules listed in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) List-I and solar cells from ALMM List-II.</p>
<p>Last year, Altra Xergi Power (O2 Power) <a href="https://mercomindia.com/altra-xergi-seci-fdre-vi-auction" target="_blank" rel="noopener">won</a> SECI&#8217;s auction for the assured peak supply of 8,000 MWh (2000 MW x 4 hours) of renewable energy from interstate ISTS-connected projects  (FDRE-VI).</p>
<p>SECI has also <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/seci-supply-1-gw-excess-power-renewable-projects" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids from renewable energy developers to supply 1,000 MW of excess power (FDRE-VIII).</p>

<p>Adyant Enersol won 70 MW at a tariff of ₹3.98 (~$0.0460)/kWh. UPC Renewables quoted a tariff of ₹3.99 (~$0.0461)/kWh to win 100 MW.</p>

<p>The tender was <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/sjvn-issues-connected-wind-projects/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">floated</a> in March 2024.</p>
<p>Bidders were allowed to submit a single bid offering a minimum project capacity of 50 MW and a maximum quantum of 300 MW. The project capacity was to be quoted in multiples of 10 MW.</p>
<p>The winners must set up ISTS-connected wind power projects, including the transmission network up to the interconnection or delivery point to supply wind power to SJVN.</p>
<p>They will also be responsible for obtaining all clearances, permits, and licenses, including land arrangement, installation, and project ownership. The winners will be responsible for securing connectivity for each project. The projects can be located anywhere in India.</p>
<p>SJVN will enter into power purchase agreements (PPAs) with the successful bidders for 25 years. Power procured by SJVN from these projects has been provisioned to be sold to different procurers.</p>
<p>Wind projects already under construction or yet to be commissioned, or commissioned but selling wind power on a short-term merchant basis, were also considered under this tender.</p>
<p>Only wind turbine models certified in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s Revised List of Models and Manufacturers can be used in the projects to ensure high-quality installations and leverage the latest advancements.</p>
<p>The declared or revised annual capacity utilization factor (CUF) should always be above 22%. Developers will have the option to revise this CUF once within the first three years after the commencement of the supply of power date, provided that the revised CUF is at least 90% of the initially quoted CUF and remains no less than 22%. Beyond this period, the CUF for the contracted capacity will remain the same for the PPA duration.</p>
<p>In November 2024, SJVN Green Energy <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/sjvn-green-issues-tender-for-100-mw-wind-projects-in-gujarat/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids for developing GETCO-connected wind power projects of up to 100 MW in Gujarat with comprehensive 10-year operations and maintenance.</p>
