Adyant Enersol (Datta Infra), Serentica Renewables India, AMPIN Energy Utility Nine (AMPIN Energy Transition), and ACME Solar Holdings have won Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) auction for the assured peak supply of 4,800 MWh (1,200 MW X 4 hours) of firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) from interstate transmission-connected projects with co-located energy storage systems (FDRE-Tranche VII).
Adyant Enersol won 100 MW at a tariff of ₹6.27 (~$0.0694)/kWh.
Serentica Renewables India and AMPIN Energy Utility Nine won 600 MW and 199 MW, respectively, at a tariff of ₹6.28 (~$0.0695)/kWh.
ACME Solar Holdings won 301 MW at a tariff of ₹6.28 (~$0.0695) under the bucket-filling method.
The tender was floated in October 2025.
The scope of work encompasses ensuring a daily supply of 4,000 kWh/MW of contracted capacity during four peak hours as selected by the buying entity. Of the 4 hours, the power must be supplied continuously for at least 1 hour.
Winners can source up to 5% of renewable energy annually from green market sources/bilateral agreements to meet the minimum supply mandate.
The project’s scope also covers identifying the land, setting up the project, and obtaining statutory approvals.
It also includes securing connectivity arrangements with the interstate transmission system/state transmission unit.
Winners must bear all transmission-related costs, including wheeling charges, losses, and operations and maintenance costs up to the interconnection point.
They must commence the supply of power within 24 months of the date of signing the power purchase agreement (PPA).
The projects must use only commercially established and operational technologies to minimize technology risk and ensure timely commissioning.
Both the renewable generation components and the energy storage system must be co-located.
The projects must use solar modules listed in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) List-I and solar cells from ALMM List-II.
Last year, Altra Xergi Power (O2 Power) won SECI’s auction for the assured peak supply of 8,000 MWh (2000 MW x 4 hours) of renewable energy from interstate ISTS-connected projects (FDRE-VI).
SECI has also invited bids from renewable energy developers to supply 1,000 MW of excess power (FDRE-VIII).
