Yellow Door Energy Projects and ACWA Power, submitted bids for Bahrain’s Electricity and Water Authority’s (EWA) 100 MW Bilaj Al Jazayer solar independent power producer (IPP) project. Yellow Door Energy quoted BHD11.398 million (~$30.31 million), while ACWA Power submitted BHD15.440 million (~$41.08 million). Once commissioned, the Bilaj Al Jazayer Solar IPP is expected to support Bahrain’s clean energy transition and contribute to the country’s goal of sourcing 20% of its electricity generation from renewable energy by 2035.
