Maharashtra continues to see growing interest among commercial and industrial (C&I) consumers in clean energy solutions to manage electricity costs and improve supply reliability. The state capital, Mumbai, is home to a mix of large corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), supported by a diverse manufacturing base.

Businesses are increasingly looking to insulate themselves from rising grid tariffs. Rooftop solar and open-access models have emerged as the most viable options due to their relatively low cost and strong environmental benefits.

Mercom India is organizing the fifth edition of its C&I Clean Energy Meet 2026 at Ramada by Wyndham Navi Mumbai on April 16, 2026. The event will help energy buyers to evaluate renewable energy sourcing options.

The day-long event will begin with registration at 9:30 AM.
