Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) tendered a 2 MW rooftop solar project to be developed at Diesel Loco Modernization Works (DMW) Patiala. The bid-submission deadline is July 27, 2017.

The scope of work includes, balance of system (BOS) supply, erection, design, and commissioning of the rooftop solar project. The successful bidder will provide operation and maintenance (O&M) services for a five-year period. The bidder will be responsible for obtaining approval from the concerned distribution company (DISCOM) for connectivity, technical feasibility, and synchronization of the project with the grid.

The project completion timeframe is 12 weeks from the date of issue of preliminary order. The successful bidder shall provide a warranty covering the rectification of all defects in the design of equipment, material, and workmanship of manufacturing of equipment for a period of 12 months after project commissioning.
