Independent power producer AMPIN Energy Transition has achieved financial closure for a $195 million project finance facility for a power purchase agreement (PPA)-backed 100 MW wind-solar project with battery energy storage systems in Andhra Pradesh.

The project will integrate solar, wind, and battery energy storage to supply dispatchable renewable power during periods of peak electricity demand.
