Renewable Energy Developer, Adani Green Energy (AGEL), has commissioned a 150 MW solar power project at Khavda in Gujarat through its wholly owned step-down subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Eight.

Adani Green’s total operational renewable energy generation capacity has reached 19,985.8 MW with the commissioning of the project. The company also said its total operational battery energy storage capacity now stands at 3,366 MWh.

In April this year, Adani Green Energy Twenty Six A, a wholly owned step-down subsidiary of Adani Green Energy, operationalized a 292 MW solar project in Khavda, Gujarat.

The company reported a revenue of ₹24.2 billion (~$263.63 million) in the third quarter of the financial year 2026, a 21% year-over-year increase from ₹19.93 billion (~$217.11 million).

Last October, Adani Green Energy Twenty Six A had earlier operationalized a 50 MW solar project in Khavda.

Last September, the subsidiary operationalized a 125-MW solar power project in Khavda.

In the same month, Adani Green Energy operationalized 87.5 MW of solar capacity at the 30 GW renewable energy project in Khavda, Gujarat.

Adani Green has targeted reaching an operational capacity of 30 GW by 2029.

AGEL topped the list of utility-scale solar project developers in India for 2024, according to Mercom’s India Solar Market Leaderboard 2025. The company accounted for 17.6% of the yearly capacity additions, commissioning 2.6 GW, including 2 GW under its flagship 8 GW manufacturing-linked project in Khavda.

Adani Green expanded its portfolio beyond solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy projects by venturing into pumped storage projects (PSP). Last February, it received a letter of award from the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation for the 1,250 MW Panaura PSP in the Sonbhadra district, with a minimum commitment of 40 years. The project is expected to be completed within the next six years.

The company is also working on several PSPs, including a 500 MW project at the Chitravathi River in Andhra Pradesh, a 1,500 MW project at Tarali in Maharashtra, and an 1,800 MW project at Gandikota in Andhra Pradesh.
