Adani Green Energy Twenty Six A, a wholly-owned stepdown subsidiary of Adani Green Energy, has operationalized a 50 MW solar project at Khavda, Gujarat.

Power generation from this project is set to commence on October 16, 2025.

Adani Green’s total operational renewable generation capacity, with this commissioning, stands at 16,729.8 MW.

In September this year, Adani Green Energy operationalized an aggregate of 408.1 MW of renewable energy projects through its step-down subsidiaries at Khavda.

Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Six also operationalized a 125 MW solar power project at Khavda in September.

In the same month, Adani Green Energy operationalized 87.5 MW of solar capacity at the 30 GW renewable energy project in Khavda, Gujarat.

Adani Green has targeted reaching an operational capacity of 30 GW by 2029.

In March, Adani Green completed a long-term refinancing of $1.06 billion (~₹92.56 billion) for developing wind-solar projects in Rajasthan. The company’s maiden construction facility entails a door-to-door tenor of 19 years with a fully amortized debt structure aligned with the cash flow lifecycle.

Adani Green topped the list of utility-scale solar project developers in India for 2024, according to Mercom’s India Solar Market Leaderboard 2025. The company accounted for 17.6% of the yearly capacity additions, commissioning 2.6 GW, including 2 GW under its flagship 8 GW manufacturing-linked project in Khavda.

Adani Green has expanded its portfolio beyond solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy projects by venturing into pumped storage projects (PSP). In February, it received a letter of award from the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation for the 1,250 MW Panaura PSP in the Sonbhadra district, with a minimum commitment of 40 years. The project is expected to be completed within the next six years.

The company is also working on several PSPs, including a 500 MW project at the Chitravathi River in Andhra Pradesh, a 1,500 MW project at Tarali in Maharashtra, and an 1,800 MW project at Gandikota in Andhra Pradesh.
