The Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (UPERC) has dismissed a petition filed by U.P. Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam (UPRVUNL) seeking an enabling regulatory framework for integrating, recognizing, and tariff-treating battery energy storage systems (BESS) with thermal power stations.
