Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Tenders 5 MW of Solar to be Developed in Peddapally

The Telangana State Power Generation Corporation (TSGENCO) tendered 5 MW of solar to be developed in Peddapally district of Telangana. The bid submission deadline is July 24, 2017.
The scope of work includes, design, manufacture, testing at manufacturers work, third party inspection, supply, storage at site and maintenance for one year of the grid connected 5 MW project on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis.
The estimated project cost is Rs.256.5 million (~$3.98 million) and the project completion timeframe is nine months from the date of award of contract.
Mercom also reported last week about TSGENCO tendering 15 MW of solar in Telangana.
According to Mercom’s India Solar Market Update Q1 2017, Telangana had ~1.4 GW of cumulative installed solar capacity and ~2 GW under development pipeline.
