					</table><p>Banaskantha District Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union (<a href="https://www.banasdairy.coop/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Banas Dairy</a>) has invited bids for the design, manufacture, supply, installation, and commissioning of a 1 MW rooftop solar system at its facility in the Sanadar village of Gujarat on a turnkey basis.</p>
<p>The last date to submit the bids is August 8, 2022. Bids will be opened on the same day.</p>
<p>Bidders will have to submit ₹400,000 (~$5,065) as an earnest money deposit.</p>
<p>The project must be completed within six months.</p>
<p>Bidders should have executed one contract costing not less than ₹40 million (~$506,572) or two contracts each costing not less than ₹32 million (~$405,258) or three contracts each costing not less than ₹24 million (~$303,943) during the last five years ending the last day of the month previous to the month in which bid will be opened.</p>
<p>Bidders should be original equipment manufacturers (OEM) or their authorized representatives in India. The OEM authorization certificate should be submitted if the Indian authorized representative submits the bid.</p>
<p>They should have been in a similar business for at least three financial years.</p>
<p>Their average financial turnover during each of the last three financial years should not be less than ₹60 million (~$759,858).</p>
<p>In May this year, Sabarkantha District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union (Sabar Dairy) <a href="https://mercomindia.com/sabar-dairy-1-mw-rooftop-solar-gujarat/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids for the design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, and commissioning of a 1 MW grid-connected rooftop solar system at its facility in Himmatnagar, Gujarat.</p>
<p>Earlier, Sabar Dairy had <a href="https://mercomindia.com/gujarat-sabar-dairy-install-solar-projects/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids for 2 MW of solar power projects at its chilling centers in Idar (1 MW) and Dhansura (1 MW). Along with the design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, and commissioning of the projects, the successful bidder had to take care of the maintenance activities for five years.</p>
<p>In 2019, the Jaipur Zila Dugdh Utpadak Sahakari Sangh Limited (JZDUSSL), known as the Jaipur Dairy, <a href="https://mercomindia.com/jaipur-dairy-floats-tender-1-5-mw-rooftop-solar-projects/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">floated</a> a tender for the supply and construction of a 1.5 MW rooftop solar plant.</p>

Banas Dairy Invites Bids for a 1 MW Rooftop Solar System in Gujarat

<p>Sabarkantha District Cooperative Milk Producers&#8217; Union (<a href="http://www.sabardairy.org/Default.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sabar Dairy</a>) has invited bids for the design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, and commissioning of a 1 MW grid-connected rooftop solar system at its facility in Himmatnagar, Gujarat.</p>
<p>The successful bidder will have to take care of the operation and maintenance activities of the project for five years.</p>
<p>The last date to submit the bids is June 6, 2022.</p>
<p>The project must be commissioned within 180 days.</p>
<p>Bidders will have to submit ₹400,000 (~$5,160) as an earnest money deposit.</p>
<p>The bidder should have experience in design, procurement,  supply, installation and commissioning, and operation &amp; maintenance of a single rooftop or ground-mounted solar power project of a minimum of 750 kW capacity in India in the last five years.</p>
<p>The bidder should have successfully completed one contract of ₹30 million (~$387,000) or two contracts, each not less than ₹18 million (~$232,200), or three contracts, each not less than ₹12 million (~$154,800).</p>
<p>The bidder should submit three months of electricity bills of the respective distribution company (DISCOM) of the 750 kW installed system.</p>
<p>The bidder should have a valid electrical contractor license and should carry out the related electrical work.</p>
<p>The bidder should have a minimum average annual turnover of ₹70 million (~$903,000) during the last five years. The bidder should submit the audited annual reports of the last five financial years.</p>
<p>In 2020, Sabar Dairy <a href="https://mercomindia.com/gujarat-sabar-dairy-install-solar-projects/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids for 2 MW of solar power projects at its chilling centers in Idar and Dhansura.</p>
<p>The Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation had <a href="https://mercomindia.com/tender-issued-to-solarize/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">floated</a> two tenders for 2.2 MW of ground-mounted solar projects. The tenders were for 1 MW of projects at the Telangana State Dairy Development Cooperative Federation and 1.2 MW at Vijaya Dairy plants.</p>

Sabar Dairy Invites Bids for a 1 MW Rooftop Solar System in Gujarat

<p>Gujarat’s <a href="http://www.sabardairy.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Sabar Dairy</a> has invited bids for 2 MW of solar power projects at its chilling centers in Idar (1 MW) and Dhansura (1 MW).</p>
<p>Along with the design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, and commissioning of the projects, the successful bidder will also have to take care of the maintenance activities for five years, which can be later extended by another five years.</p>
<p>The time for the completion of the projects has been set as six months. The last date to submit the bids is October 23, 2020.</p>
<p>Interested bidders will have to submit an amount of ₹1 million (~$13,621) as the earnest money deposit (EMD).</p>
<p>To participate in the competitive bidding process, the bidder should have experience in installing and commissioning two ground-mounted solar projects of 1 MW capacity each in India in the last three years. The bidder should have experience installing and commissioning a cumulative capacity of 20 MW in the previous three years.</p>
<p>Under the financial criteria, the bidder should have an average annual turnover of ₹300 million (~$4.08 million) in the last three years. The bidder&#8217;s net worth in the previous three years should be at least ₹80 million (~$1.09 million).</p>
<p>As per the tender document, the solar modules to be used in the project should be monocrystalline PERC crystalline, and the peak power rating of the modules should not be less than 400 Wp. The module efficiency should be at least 19%.</p>
<p>Last year, Jaipur Dairy also <a href="https://mercomindia.com/jaipur-dairy-floats-tender-1-5-mw-rooftop-solar-projects/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">floated</a> a tender for the supply and construction of 1.5 MW of roof-mounted captive solar projects.</p>
<p>Gujarat is also in the process of <a href="https://mercomindia.com/gujarat-solar-systems-water-treatment-sewage-projects/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">installing</a> solar systems for 15 water treatment and sewage projects spread across 11 municipalities in the state. The project would be implemented at an approximate cost of ₹136.1 million (~$1.83 million). These eleven municipalities include Bardoli, Umargam, Botad, Songadh, Vijalpore, Ankleshwar, Jambusar, Navsari, Vyra, Unjha, and Surendranagar. The generated solar energy would also bring savings worth ₹29.4 million (~$0.396 million) in electricity cost.</p>
