					</table><p>Mumbai-based engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company, <a href="https://www.kecrpg.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">KEC International</a>, secured multiple orders totaling ₹13.03 billion (~$136.15 million) across various business verticals.</p>
<p>KEC has secured orders for transmission and distribution projects across India and the Americas. These include orders for 400/220 kV substations and associated transmission lines from a private developer in southern India. It also received orders to supply towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas.</p>
<p>The company&#8217;s renewables business received an order from a private developer for a wind project exceeding 150 MW in western India.</p>
<p>Its cables and conductors business also secured orders in India and overseas markets.</p>
<p>In January 2026, KEC <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/kec-secures-%E2%82%B910-5-billion-orders-across-wind-transmission-projects" target="_blank" rel="noopener">received</a> orders totaling ₹10.5 billion (~$116.63 million) across wind, cables, and conductors business verticals.</p>
<p>The company continues to expand its presence in the wind sector, as India&#8217;s cumulative wind capacity <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/india-adds-1-6-gw-of-wind-capacity-in-q1-2026" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reached</a> 56.1 GW as of March 2026.</p>
<p>KEC&#8217;s offerings include EPC for solar projects developed by private players, as well as rooftop solar solutions for commercial and industrial consumers. The company is also empanelled with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy under the solar on-grid program.</p>
<p>Within its power transmission and distribution sector, KEC designs, manufactures, and erects transmission lines up to 1,200 kV and provides end-to-end solutions for underground high-tension and extra-high-voltage cabling. It specializes in the execution of gas-insulated transmission lines up to 380 kV.</p>
<p>KEC also executes turnkey EPC projects worldwide involving high-voltage electrical switching and distribution substations.</p>
<p>In May 2026, KEC won multiple new orders worth ₹10.02 billion (~$104.84 million) across transmission, renewables, transportation, cables, and conductors.</p>
<p>In April 2026, the company bagged cumulative orders worth ₹25.18 billion (~$263.47 million) across multiple business verticals, including transmission and distribution, and cables and conductors.</p>
<p>In March, the company secured orders worth ₹14.76 billion (~$154.44 million) for transmission and distribution projects in India, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas.</p>

					</table><p>Renewable energy operation and maintenance (O&amp;M) company <a href="https://www.inoxgreen.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Inox Green Energy</a> has signed an agreement with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solutions provider<a href="https://www.kecrpg.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> KEC International</a> to provide O&amp;M services for a 625 MW solar project at Bhadla, Rajasthan.</p>
<p>Inox said this order will increase its solar O&amp;M portfolio to over 3 GW.</p>
<p>SK Mathu Sudhana, CEO at Inox Green, said, “At Inox Green, we are expanding our solar O&amp;M portfolio, both organically as well as inorganically, by participating in large-scale opportunities across solar, wind, and renewable energy infrastructure O&amp;M space. Further, Inox Green also expects to add a large O&amp;M portfolio on the back of the rapid scale-up of Inox Clean’s (group company) capacities.”</p>
<p>Part of the INOXGFL Group, Inox Green Energy operates in 12 states.</p>
<p>Recently, Inox Clean Energy, the renewable arm of the INOXGFL Group, along with its subsidiary, Inox Solar, <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/inox-clean-secures-%E2%82%B931-billion-equity-to-scale-ipp-and-solar-manufacturing?utm_source=chatgpt.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">raised</a> equity totaling ₹31 billion (~$342.83 million), valuing the company at ₹500 billion (~$5.54 billion) pre-money.</p>
<p>Earlier this month, Inox Neo Energies <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/inox-neo-energies-acquires-sunsources-300-mw-solar-projects" target="_blank" rel="noopener">acquired</a> around 300 MW of operational solar projects from SunSource Energy. The company is also in the process of acquiring an estimated 50 MW of solar projects pending approvals from SunSource Energy. The projects are located across 13 states, including Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra.</p>
<p>In December 2025, Inox Clean Energy <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/inox-clean-to-acquire-macquarie-owned-vibrant-energy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">acquired</a> the Indian renewable independent power producer (IPP) portfolios of Vibrant Energy, a Macquarie-owned IPP platform.</p>
<p>It is also in advanced stages of acquisition of a multi-gigawatt IPP portfolio and an integrated solar manufacturing facility based outside India.</p>
<p>Inox aims to install 10 GW of IPP capacity and 11 GW of integrated solar module manufacturing capacity by the financial year 2028, with expected consolidated annual revenues of ~₹300 billion (~$3.33 billion).</p>
<p>In September 2025, Inox Neo Energies <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/inox-neo-energies-to-acquire-640-mw-renewable-hybrid-portfolio-from-evergreen" target="_blank" rel="noopener">executed</a> definitive agreements with Evergreen Power Mauritius and Evergreen Renewables to acquire their 640 MW wind-solar hybrid projects.</p>

<p>Foraying into the wind energy segment, KEC won a balance-of-plant package for a wind project exceeding 100 MW in Southern India from a private developer.</p>
<p>SAE Towers, a subsidiary of KEC, won orders for the supply of towers, hardware, and poles to the Americas. A major portion of the deliveries will be made to Mexico, showcasing an uptick in the North American transmission and distribution market.</p>
<p>It also won contracts to supply various types of cables and conductors in India and the overseas market.</p>
<p>To date, the company has won orders estimated at ₹193 billion (~$2.14 billion).</p>
<p>KEC’s offerings include EPC for solar projects developed by private players and rooftop solar solutions for commercial and industrial consumers. The company is also empanelled with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) under the solar on-grid program.</p>
<p>Within its power transmission and distribution sector, KEC designs, manufactures, and erects transmission lines up to 1,200 kV, and provides end-to-end solutions for underground high-tension and extra-high-voltage cabling works. It specializes in the execution of gas-insulated transmission lines up to 380 kV.</p>
<p>KEC also executes turnkey EPC projects involving high-voltage electrical switching and distribution substations worldwide.</p>
<p>In December 2025, KEC won orders worth ₹11.5 billion (~$127.74 million), including a 765 kV transmission line and a 765/400 kV air-insulated substation, on a lump-sum turnkey basis.</p>
<p>Last November, the company won orders for the supply of transmission towers, hardware, and poles in the Middle East and the Americas, and for 400 kV transmission lines in the United Arab Emirates.</p>
<p>The company’s foray into wind comes amid the continued expansion of India’s wind power capacity.</p>
<p>As per data from the Central Electricity Authority, the MNRE, and Mercom’s India Research, India had a total <a href="https://mercomindia.com/51-of-indias-installed-renewable-capacity-was-solar-by-q3-2025" target="_blank" rel="noopener">installed</a> wind capacity of 53.1 GW, accounting for nearly 10.7% of the country&#8217;s cumulative installed power capacity as of September 2025.</p>
