					</table><p>The <a href="https://dae.gov.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Department of Atomic Energy</a> has invited bids for the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 2 MW of rooftop solar systems, along with five years of comprehensive maintenance, at the Nuclear Fuel Complex (KOTA) in Rawatbhata, Rajasthan.</p>
<p>The last date to submit bids is June 10, 2026. Bids will be opened on June 12.</p>
<p>Bidders must submit ₹1.7 million (~$17,599) as an earnest money deposit.</p>
<p>Successful bidders must furnish a performance bank guarantee equal to 5% of the tendered value, valid for two years and extendable up to ten years and six months within a period of seven days from the date of issue of the letter of award.</p>
<p>The estimated cost of the project is ₹85 million (~$879,954).</p>
<p>The project must be completed within 10 months of the 15th day following contract award.</p>
<p>Power generated from the solar project is intended for the captive use of NFC Kota&#8217;s internal electrical network and is not directly interconnected with the state distribution company&#8217;s grid.</p>
<p>Bidders should have completed during the last seven years, one similar work of value not less than ₹68 million (~$703,963), or two similar works each costing not less than ₹51 million (~$527,972), or three similar works each costing not less than ₹34 million (~$351,982).</p>
<p>The average annual financial turnover for construction works and works contracts should be at least 100% of the estimated cost during the immediately preceding three financial years.</p>
<p>They should not have incurred any loss in more than two years during the last five-year period ending with the last financial year.</p>
<p>Bidders should have a solvency of at least ₹34 million (~$351,982).</p>
<p>Solar modules for the project must be from the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) List I, and solar cells must be from the ALMM List II.</p>
<p>The panels should be bifacial, half-cut, TOPCON, or superior panels (superior technologies will include HJT, IBC, or other next-generation cell technologies) with average cell efficiency ≥ 23%.</p>
<p>The solar modules installed under this contract should be warranted for a minimum output peak watt capacity of not less than 90% of the rated capacity at the end of 10 years from the date of commissioning; and not less than 80% of the rated capacity at the end of 25 years from the commissioning date.</p>

					</table><p>The <a href="https://dae.gov.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Department of Atomic Energy</a> has invited bids for the operation and maintenance (O&amp;M) of a 12 MW solar power project at its heavy water plant in Manuguru, Hyderabad.</p>
<p>The last date to submit bids is March 18, 2026. Bids will be opened on March 25.</p>
<p>Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of ₹458,960 (~$5,061) and a performance bank guarantee amounting to 5% of the tendered amount.</p>
<p>They must also submit a security deposit amounting to 2.5% of the tendered amount.</p>
<p>The project is estimated at ₹22.95 million (~$253,057).</p>
<p>The O&amp;M period will be for 24 months.</p>
<p>The scope of work covers the supply of spares and consumables, preventive and breakdown maintenance, overhauling, replacement of damaged modules, inverter parts, supervisory control and data acquisition, programmable logic controller systems, and switchgear for the power conditioning unit.</p>
<p>It also entails cleaning modules, ventilation blowers, the low-tension panel board, the remote terminal unit panel, and strong combiner boxes.</p>
<p>Successful bidders must inject power to the 6.6 kV east substation grid as per the state load dispatch center.</p>
<p>The 12 MW solar project comprises REC, Singapore’s 255 Wp solar modules, Vacon’s 8000 series inverters, and Raychem’s 2.5 MVA, 340V/340V/6.6 kV transformers.</p>
<p>Successful bidders must use goods and services that meet a minimum local content requirement of 20% of the tendered value.</p>
<p>If the successful bidders fail to supply and install the faulty equipment after 144 hours of the breakdown, they must pay ₹6/kWh (~$0.066/kWh) for the generation loss.</p>
<p>They must also ensure the project generates at least 90% of guaranteed generation. In default, they must pay a penalty of ₹13.25/kWh (~$0.146/kWh).</p>
<p>Successful bidders must have completed O&amp;M of solar projects of at least 10 MW for a minimum of two years in the last seven financial years in the following ways:</p>
<ul>
<li>Three solar projects costing at least 40% of the estimated cost</li>
<li>Two solar projects costing at least 60% of the estimated cost</li>
<li>One project costing at least 80% of the estimated cost</li>
</ul>
<p>Bidders must have a minimum annual turnover of at least 50% of the estimated tender value and must not have incurred losses in more than two of the last 5 financial years.</p>
<p>They must also submit either a banker’s certificate for 40% of the estimated tender cost or a net worth certificate for at least 10% of the tender cost.</p>

Atomic Energy Department Tenders O&M of 12 MW Solar Project in Hyderabad

<p>The Directorate of Purchase and Stores, <a href="https://etenders.dpsdae.gov.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Department of Atomic Energy</a>, has invited bids to supply, install, commission, and maintain a 1.73 MW grid-connected (without battery bank) solar project at the Indira Gandhi Center for Atomic Research (IGCAR) facility in Kalpakkam.</p>
<p>The scope of work includes the design, manufacture, testing at manufacturer&#8217;s works, packing, transportation by road, supply, delivery at site, unloading, handling and storage at site, complete installation, testing, integration, commissioning of 1.73 MW of grid-connected solar power project.</p>
<p>The last date to submit the bids online is October 20, 2021, and bids will be opened on the same day.</p>
<p>Interested bidders are not required to pay any earnest money deposit to participate in the bidding process.</p>
<p>The project should be completed within eight months from the date of the receipt of the work order.</p>
<p>The project will function without battery backup. The power project will export the power generated at a low voltage level.</p>
<p>To participate in the bidding process, the bidder should be a manufacturer of the monocrystalline passivated emitter and rear cell (PERC) solar modules in India. The bidder should have designed, manufactured, tested, supplied, and commissioned at least three solar power projects of a minimum capacity of 1.7 MW which should be in successful operation as on the bid opening day.</p>
<p>Also, the bidder must provide a performance certificate from the end-user of a solar project of a minimum of 1.7 MW capacity, with a one-year performance ratio greater than 75%. The proposed solar project should have an estimated performance ratio greater than 75%. The system design, products, installation, and testing should comply with the specifications and meet the site requirement.</p>
<p>As per the tender documents, the solar modules should be of a minimum capacity of 380 MWp and should be mounted on a structure covering the entire effective area. The minimum efficiency of each solar module should be 18%, and the modules should perform satisfactorily in humidity up to 95% with temperatures between -10ºC to + 85ºC.</p>
<p>In May this year, the Department of Atomic Energy <a href="https://mercomindia.com/department-of-atomic-energy-issues-om-tender-for-a-12-mw-solar-project/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">issued</a> a tender for the operation &amp; maintenance of a 12 MW solar project at a heavy water plant in Manuguru, Telangana.</p>
