					</table><p>Adani Energy Solutions (<a href="https://www.adanienergysolutions.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">AESL</a>) has commissioned the Karur Transmission project in Tamil Nadu, facilitating the evacuation of 2,500 MW of power from renewable sources in the Karur/Tiruppur Wind Energy Zone.</p>
<p>The project encompasses a 400/230 kV, 1,000 MVA pooling station, and an associated transmission line spanning 8.51 circuit kilometers (CKM).</p>
<p>The project will support the integration of renewable energy sources on a large scale and strengthen the southern regional grid, providing enhanced access to reliable and clean energy for industrial, commercial, and residential consumers.</p>
<p>The Karur/Tiruppur wind energy zone in Tamil Nadu features several under-construction wind farms.</p>
<p>AESL <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/daily-news-wrap-up-adani-bags" target="_blank" rel="noopener">secured</a> this project through the tariff-based competitive bidding route in December 2021 for 35 years, following a build, own, operate, and maintain model to ensure the evacuation of 2,500 MW of green power in the region.</p>
<p>AESL said it completed the project using high-boom equipment for construction and advanced cybersecurity solutions. The project ran round-the-clock in multiple shifts, erecting two 48-MT towers in 24 hours each and managing tasks such as shutting down the 400 kV D/C Pugalur-Pugalur line and erecting tower structures.</p>
<p>In October, AGEL completed the commissioning of a 150 MW solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, which increased the company&#8217;s operational renewable generation capacity to 8,404 MW, aligning it with the goal of achieving a 45 GW capacity by 2030.</p>
<p>AESL recently <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/adani-warora-kurnool-transmission-line" target="_blank" rel="noopener">commissioned</a> the 765 kV Warora-Kurnool Transmission line, spanning 1,756 CKM across Maharashtra, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh. The line is expected to ensure a seamless flow of 4,500 MW of power between the western and southern regions and support the large-scale integration of generation from renewable energy sources.</p>
