Solarworld’s Q4 Revenue Doubles as its Solar and BESS Manufacturing Scales

Uttar Pradesh-based renewable energy company Solarworld Energy Solutions reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹5.92 billion (~$61.94 million) in the fourth quarter (Q4) of the financial year (FY) 2026, up 236% compared to ₹1.76 billion (~$18.42 million) a year earlier.
Quarterly consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) rose 347% to ₹732.83 million (~$7.67 million) from ₹164.09 million (~$1.72 million). EBITDA margin improved to 12.1% from 9.2%.
The company posted a consolidated net profit of ₹490.55 million (~$5.13 million), up 420% from ₹94.38 million (~$987,548) in the same quarter last year.
Earnings per share stood at ₹5.66 in Q4 FY26 compared with ₹1.27 in Q4 FY25.
Solarworld Energy said its order book stood at ₹28.13 billion (~$294.34 million) as of March 31, 2026. Its ongoing portfolio includes 1,405 MW of solar EPC projects and 582 MW/1,184 MWh of battery energy storage system projects.
The company said it has completed 47 projects with an aggregate capacity of 264 MW. It has 13 ongoing projects.
During the quarter, Solarworld received BESS EPC orders from NTPC for projects in Solapur, Maharashtra, and Unchahar, Uttar Pradesh. The projects aggregate 257 MW/514 MWh and have a combined order value of ₹5.99 billion (~$62.68 million), including operations and maintenance.
It also received a balance-of-systems package order from NTPC Renewable Energy for a 200 MW grid-connected solar project. The order is valued at ₹2.35 billion (~$24.59 million), including operations and maintenance.
The company’s 1.552 GW TOPCon solar module manufacturing facility in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, was commissioned in July 2025. The facility manufactures modules ranging from 610 W to 750 W across M10R, G12R, and G12 configurations.
Solarworld said its 3.4 GW fully automated BESS facility is ready, with trials underway. A 5 GW junction box line is being developed through a joint venture, with the site ready and trials underway.
The company is also developing a 1.2 GW solar cell facility, with commercial operations targeted by June 2027.
FY 2026
Revenue from operations in FY 2026 rose 153% to ₹13.76 billion (~$143.98 million) from ₹5.45 billion (~$57.03 million), driven by higher execution in the engineering, procurement, and construction segment.
Annual EBITDA increased 63% to ₹1.88 billion (~$19.67 million) from ₹1.16 billion (~$12.14 million). The EBITDA margin contracted to 13.3% from 21% in FY 2025.
Solarworld reported a net profit of ₹1.2 billion (~$12.56 million), a 56% increase from ₹770.48 million (~$8.06 million) in the previous year.
Earnings per share stood at ₹14.95, up from ₹10.68 a year ago.
During the year, Solarworld completed its initial public offering of ₹4.9 billion (~$51.27 million), comprising 13.96 million equity shares of face value ₹5 each.
Solarworld reported a revenue of ₹5.78 billion (~$62.88 million) for Q3 FY 2026.
