Solar Cell Capacity Under ALMM List-II Increases to 26 GW

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has issued the fourth revised Approved List of Models and Manufacturers List-II for solar cells, raising the total enlisted capacity to 26 GW.

Evervolt Solar Technology (Evervolt Green Energy) makes its entry to the ALMM List-II with a capacity of 1,074 MW. The company’s manufacturing facility is located in Tirupati district, Andhra Pradesh. The company uses bifacial monocrystalline silicon PERC solar cells with dimensions of 182.2 mm × 182.2 mm and a 10-busbar configuration.

The enlisted model, EVT-M10-BR-PERC, has an average cell efficiency of 23.10% and an average wattage of 7.66 W, with efficiency ranging from 22% to 23.50% and wattage ranging from 7.26 W to 7.75 W. The validity of this enlistment is from February 5, 2026, to February 4, 2030.

Premier Energies Photovoltaic (Premier Energies) has secured approval for a model addition. The company increased its enlisted capacity by 607 MW. The newly added model is a bifacial N-type TOPCon solar cell with a G12R format, dimensions of 182.3 mm × 210 mm, and 16 busbars. The model claims an average efficiency of 25.37% and average wattage of 9.71 W, with efficiency ranging from 24% to 26% and wattage from 9.18 W to 9.95 W.

Mundra Solar PV (Adani Group) has also received approval for a model addition. The company increased its enlisted capacity by 405 MW. The newly added model TPRB16 pertains to bifacial N-type TOPCon solar cells with dimensions of 182.3 mm × 210 mm and 16 busbars. The model has an average efficiency of 25.35% and an average wattage of 9.70 W, with efficiency ranging from 24.5% to 25.7% and wattage ranging from 9.37 W to 9.82 W.

FS India Solar Ventures has been deemed eligible for inclusion in ALMM List-II for solar cells, as it is already enlisted in ALMM List-I for solar modules. The company has increased its enlisted capacity by 221 MW, bringing it to 3,433 MW.

In December 2025, MNRE issued the third Approved List of Models and Manufacturers List-II for solar cells, raising the total enlisted capacity to 23.7 GW.

In September 2025, MNRE issued the second ALMM List-II with a total enlisted capacity of 4.8 GW, raising the enlisted capacity to 17.88 GW.
