The Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (UPERC) has approved UP Power Corporation’s (UPPCL) proposal for joint procurement of 1,130 MWh battery storage capacity in association with the Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company (MPPMCL) for 15 years under the Viability Gap Funding (VGF) program.
