The NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN) has invited bids for installing 3.45 MW grid-connected rooftop solar projects at multiple buildings in three Andaman and Nicobar Islands districts.
Bids must be submitted by June 19, 2025. Bids will be opened on June 20.
Bidders must submit a bid document fee of ₹22,500 (~$262.45).
Successful bidders must submit a bid security of ₹9.58 million (~$111,747).
Apart from installing the solar systems, the selected bidders must obtain net-metering approval from the distribution company/designated agency.
They must obtain an insurance policy for transit, storage, and erection for all the project materials. They must also provide operations and maintenance services for five years.
The project’s modules must be from the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM). The cells must be from manufacturers listed in the ALMM List-II for solar cells.
If ALMM List II is not released, bidders must submit a certificate from the manufacturer certifying that the solar cells meet the domestic content requirements.
Selected bidders must use modules with a minimum capacity of 540 Wp. Their efficiency must be at least 20%.
Bidders must have designed, engineered, supplied, erected, commissioned, or supervised the commissioning of solar projects of a cumulative installed capacity of at least 400 kW. One of these projects must have had a minimum capacity of 40 kW.
Bidders must have executed an electrical sub-station of at least 11 kV either as a developer or an engineering, procurement, and construction contractor. This execution must have included equipment such as voltage circuit breakers and power transformers of at least 11kV rating. The sub-station must have been operational for at least one year.
Bidders must have a minimum annual turnover of ₹287.34 million (~$3.3 million) in the last three years.
In February this year, NVVN issued a request for selection to set up 500 MW/1,000 MWh standalone battery energy storage systems in Rajasthan under a build, own, and operate model.
