NTPC Renewables Tenders BoS Package for 200 MW Solar Project in Rajasthan

NTPC Renewable Energy (NTPC REL) has invited bids for the balance-of-system (BoS) package for a 200 MW solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan.

The successful bidder will also be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the project for three years from the project’s commissioning.

The scope includes the design, engineering, manufacturing,  installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar power project, excluding the supply of solar modules.

The last date to submit bids is May 5, 2026. Bids will be opened on the same day.

Bidders must submit ₹50 million (~$536,280) as the earnest money deposit.

Bidders should meet any one of the following criteria:

  • Bidders should have designed, supplied, erected, and commissioned a balance of system of solar power projects of cumulative installed capacity of 40 MW or higher, out of which at least one plant should have been of 10 MW or higher capacity, which should have been operational for at least six months.
  • They should have developed projects of cumulative capacity of 40 MW or higher, out of which at least one project should have been of 10 MW or higher capacity, which should have been operational for at least six months.
  • They should have executed an industrial project in the last 10 years, either as a developer or as engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor in the area of power, steel, oil and gas, petro-chemical, fertilizer, cement, coal mining, or any other process industry, of ₹660 million (~$7.08 million) or more.

Bidders should also have executed at least one electrical substation at a voltage level of 33 kV or higher, including equipment such as circuit breakers and power transformers, either as a developer or as an EPC Contractor.

The bidders’ average annual turnover should not be less than ₹660 million (~$7.08 million) during the preceding three financial years.

Their net worth as on the last day of the preceding financial year should not be less than 100% of the bidder’s paid-up share capital.

Recently, NTPC REL invited bids for the BoS of a 900 MW grid-connected solar project in Fatehgarh, Rajasthan.

Earlier, NTPC REL invited bids for a Bos package for an interstate transmission system connected 900 MW wind energy project in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.
