The last date to submit bids is May 22, 2026. Bids will be opened on the same day.
Bidders must submit bids security amount as follows:
Bidders should have manufactured and supplied solar modules or solar cells of cumulative capacity of 200 MWp or above, within a period of any consecutive 12 months in the last five years prior to the date of the bid opening, out of which at least one such supply order should be of 50 MWp or above capacity.
They must have a minimum annual solar module manufacturing capacity calculated as ‘Total Quoted capacity in MWp x 1.67.’
Alternatively, they should have supplied solar modules or solar cells with a cumulative capacity of ‘2.14 X Total Quoted capacity (MWp) or above,’ within a period of any consecutive 12 months in the last five years prior, out of which at least one such supply order should be of 50 MWp or above capacity.
The average annual turnover of the bidder during the preceding three financial years as on the date of bid opening should not be less than ‘Y = A+B’:
- Where, A= Total Capacity Quoted for S1 Block in MWp x 0.2155
- B= Total Capacity Quoted for S2, S3, and S4 block in MWp x 0.3228
The net worth of bidders as on the last day of the preceding financial year should not be less than 100% of the bidder’s paid-up share capital.
Recently, NTPC REL floated two tenders inviting bids to supply the balance-of-system for 2,100 MW of grid-connected solar projects in Andhra Pradesh.
In January this year, NTPC Green Energy issued a tender to procure 2.38 MW of solar modules for its projects in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. The procurement involved the supply of 7,000 crystalline silicon solar PV modules, each with a rated capacity of 340 Wp.
