NTPC Green Energy (NGEL) has invited bids for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of a 160 MW solar project at Jetstar, Rajasthan for two months.

Bids must be submitted by July 9, 2025. Bids will be opened on the same day.

Bidders must furnish a security deposit of 10% of the contract value. NGEL will hold the security deposit as security for the due performance.

The scope of work entails module cleaning, and cutting and disposal of grass and bushes from the 840-acre project area. It also includes the 24/7 watch and ward of the project. If any theft occurs during the contract period, it will be the selected bidder’s liability to restore or recoup the material.

Successful bidders must regularly water the plants at the project site.

Selected bidders must also deploy a site manager and two graduate engineers with experience in solar project O&M. They must also deploy at least 13 technicians.

The scope of work involves providing all necessary consumables, such as fuses, connectors, and testing tools.

Successful bidders must man the control room for 24 hours a day. The project supervisory control and data acquisition will be the primary tool for monitoring the operating status of various project equipment.

Bidders are advised to visit the site to familiarize themselves with the nature and scope of work, site conditions, and to gather all information regarding risks, contingencies, and other relevant circumstances.

In May this year, NGEL invited expressions of interest from renewable energy companies having power purchase agreements with intermediary procurers to acquire solar projects with a minimum cumulative capacity of 50 MW.

In April, it invited bids for procuring 2,500 kW central inverters for a 140 MW solar power project in Bilhaur, Uttar Pradesh.
