NLC India Invites Bids to Select Consultant for 1.4 GW Renewable Projects

NLC India has invited bids to select a qualified coordinating agency to provide forecasting, scheduling, and deviation settlement mechanism for 1,400 MW of solar and wind power projects at various places in Tamil Nadu.

The last date to submit the bids is June 6, 2023. Bids will be opened on the same day.

Bidders must submit ₹220,000 (~$2,674) as an earnest money deposit.

The contract period will be 24 months from the date of issuance of the letter of award.

To be eligible, bidders should have completed forecasting and scheduling services for wind or solar generation across the nation as a coordinating agency for various generators during the last seven years.

The bidder should have completed a similar project of a minimum value of ₹7.015 million (~$875,272), or two similar projects of value not less than ₹4.384 million (~$53,291) each, or three similar works of value not less than ₹3.508 million (~$42,642) each.

Also, the bidder must have a positive net worth during the last financial year.

The average annual turnover of bidders during the last three financial years should not be less than ₹2.631 million (~$31,982).

If the aggregate value of the goods and services rendered by the bidder in a financial year exceeds ₹2 million (~$24,311), the bidder should possess a valid certificate of registration under the Goods and Service Tax Act (GST) and furnish a copy of the same.

Last month, NLC India invited bids to develop 200 MW of the interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected solar projects on a pan-India basis.

Earlier, NLC India had invited bids to set up a 300 MW grid-connected solar power project at Barsingsar in the Bikaner region of Rajasthan.
