Mining Firm MOIL Invites Bids for 15 MW Solar Project in Madhya Pradesh

Nagpur-based MOIL, a state-owned manganese-ore mining company, has invited bids for a 15 MW grid-connected solar project at Rajgarh Khas in Madhya Pradesh.

Bids must be submitted by December 2, 2025. Bids will be opened on December 4.

The estimated total project cost, including five years of comprehensive operation and maintenance, is ₹637.7 million (~$7.19 million) plus GST.

Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹5 million (~$56,400). The successful bidder must submit a performance bank guarantee of 10% of the operation and maintenance (O&M) cost, valid for five years with a minimum six-month claim period, after the completion of the 12-month warranty period.

The scope of work includes the design, engineering, procurement, and commissioning, followed by five years of O&M services after a one-year warranty or performance demonstration period.

The O&M cost will be 10.58% of the tender’s quoted basic price. The project must be completed within six months from the date of signing the contract, with an additional 20-day mobilization period allowed.

The solar modules, inverters, cables, and other Balance of System equipment deployed in the project should have valid test certificates as per IEC/ IS Standards by one of the NABL-accredited test centers.

Bidders must have executed similar solar projects within the last seven years. They should have completed either three similar works totaling at least 40% of the estimated cost, two works totaling 50% of the estimated cost, or one work totaling 80% of the estimated cost.

Additionally, bidders must have designed, supplied, erected, and commissioned a ground-mounted, grid-connected special-purpose vehicle of at least 6 MW capacity and must have operated and maintained a minimum 6 MW project for at least two years during the last seven years.

The average annual turnover of the bidders must be at least 30% of the estimated cost over the past three financial years (2021-2024).
