The Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC) has rejected a solar developer’s petition seeking compensation of ₹477.5 million (~$5.09 million) for additional expenditure incurred due to a change-in-law event arising from an increase in Goods and Services Tax (GST).
