KREDL Tenders 200 MW Solar At Pavagada Solar Park

Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL), the renewable energy implementing agency in Karnataka, tendered 200 MW of solar to be developed at Pavagada Solar Park. The bid-submission deadline is September 20, 2017.

This is an engineering procurement and construction (EPC) tender and the scope of work includes, design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of the 200 MW solar project.

The successful bidder will have to develop associated transmission system for connection to grid and provide operation and maintenance services for a 10-year period. A single bidder can bid for the entire capacity, informed a KREDL official. Mercom previously reported, the Government of Karnataka approved the tendering of 200 MW solar by KREDL at Pavagada Solar Park.

According to Mercom’s India Solar Project Tracker, the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) cancelled a 200 MW solar with Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) tender.
