In two separate tenders of 1 MW each, the Military Engineering Services (MES) tendered 2 MW of solar. The MES tendered a 1 MW project to be developed at Binnaguri Cantonmnet and another to be developed at 5 BRD AFS in Sulur.

The bid-submission deadline is August 3, 2017 for the 1 MW project to be developed at Binnaguri and August 17, 2017 for the project to be developed at 5 BRD AFS, Sulur.

The estimated project cost is Rs.68.9 million (~$1.07 million) for the project at Binnaguri and Rs.79.4 million (~$1.23 million) for the project at 5 BRD AFS, Sulur. The scope of work for both the projects includes, design, supply, engineering, procurement, erection, testing, installation, and commissioning of the projects.
