Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL), the renewable energy implementing agency in Karnataka has cancelled the 200 MW solar project tender for the Pavagada Solar Park with plans to re-tender.

When contacted over the issue, an official involved with development of the Pavagada Solar Park said, “From our side there are no issues, we are ready with all facilities.” An official at KREDL told Mercom, “Due to certain internal issues we have withdrawn the tender, but there’s no reason to fret as the capacity will be retendered soon.”

In July, the KREDL had issued an engineering procurement and construction (EPC) tender to develop a 200 MW solar project in Pavagada Solar Park.
