Indraprastha Gas (IGL), a joint venture of GAIL India, BPCL, and the Government of Delhi, has invited bids to set up a 160 MW solar power project with a 28 MWh battery storage system in Rajasthan.
The successful bidder must operate and maintain the project for five years.
The scope of work includes survey, design, engineering, supply, procurement, installation, and construction, along with a 28 MWh battery energy storage system and a 220 kV or above transmission line with Central Transmission Utility connectivity.

The project must be completed within 18 months of the contract award.
Bidders should have designed, supplied, supervised, erected, and commissioned solar projects (with or without supply of modules, but including balance of system) having a cumulative capacity of 40 MW or higher, out of which at least one solar project must be of 10 MW or higher capacity. The 10 MW project should have been in operation for at least six months before the tender date.
They should have the required interstate transmission system (ISTS) connectivity in their name at the time of bid submission. The ISTS connectivity they offer, or the start date of that connectivity, should be within nine months of the bid submission date.
