The last date to submit the bids is August 1, 2023. Bids will be opened the following day.

The bidder will be responsible for all the required activities for the successful running, optimum energy generation as well as maintenance of associated facilities of the solar project, which includes the supply of all spare parts, repairs, and replacement of any defective equipment at his own cost as required from time to time during the O&M period.

If the contractor fails to take over the possession of the entire work at all job sites within seven days of the date of the award of the contract, an amount equivalent to 1% of the contract value as liquidated damages for each week of delay or part thereof, subject to a maximum of 5% of the total contract value, will apply.

Last month, Gujarat-based Param Renewable Energy, the O&M arm of Gensol, was awarded a contract by IOCL for the O&M of a 5 MW solar power project located at IOCL’s Rawra facility in Rajasthan.

Earlier, IOCL had invited bids for the annual O&M contract of a 1001.3 kW rooftop solar system installed at its Paradip Refinery and Township in Odisha.
