Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) has invited bids to appoint a technical consultant for project management consultancy services to set up renewable energy projects at various locations across India.

The last date to submit the bids is September 29, 2023. Bids will be opened on October 3.

Bidders are not required to pay any earnest money deposit.

The contract will be valid for three years from the issuance of the letter of award.

Bidders must have experience in providing project management consultancy services, including a detailed project report, design, and engineering (with or without tendering and site supervision support) to the project developer.

They should have experience in providing project management consultancy services for bids invited by the renewable energy implementing agencies, distribution companies (DISCOMs), power utilities, or state nodal agencies with 50 MW or more installed capacity for wind and 50 MW or more installed capacity of solar during the last seven years.

The project management consultancy services for wind and solar projects submitted by the bidder showing experience need not be in the same work order. However, the minimum installed capacity of 50 MW for a wind or solar project should be at a single location and executed through a single work order.

Experience in providing project management consultancy services for wind-solar hybrid projects will also be acceptable. The project installed capacity and project location, as per the latest definitions issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, will be applicable during the validity of this tender.

The annual turnover of bidders in any of the last five financial years should be at least ₹15.8 million (~$190,085).

Last month, IOCL issued a tender to empanel turnkey contractors for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and operation and maintenance of large-scale solar, wind, and hybrid power projects.

Earlier, IOCL had invited bids from consultants for project management consultancy services to set up a 2.25 MW of grid-connected ground-mounted solar power project at its liquefied petroleum gas bottling plant in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
