GIPCL Tenders 200 MW of Wind in Gujarat

The Gujarat Industries Power Co Ltd (GIPCL) tendered 200 MW of wind to be developed in the state of Gujarat. The bid-submission deadline is July 17, 2017.

A single bidder can bid for a minimum of 25 MW and a maximum of 200 MW. A bidder can offer any capacity up to 200 MW wind farm or minimum 25 MW capacity lot at single/multiple sites of their choice, according to GIPCL.

The project will be developed on turnkey basis and the scope of work includes, design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, assembly, shop testing, transportation to site, construction, erection, installation, testing, commissioning, trial operation and conducting performance guarantee test.

The successful bidder will be responsible for power evacuation from the project up to Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO) substation. The successful bidder will also provide operation and maintenance services for a 20-year period.

The GIPCL has regulated, a bidder can submit only one offer for a single site, for multiple sites by same bidder, different offers must be submitted with separate sealed bids.
