BSNL invites bids for 4.5 MW rooftop solar projects

Green Energy Development Corporation of Odisha has invited bids to conduct topographic and contour surveys and soil and water quality tests for a 55-60 MW solar power project in Boudh. Bidders must also supply and erect benchmark posts and boundary pillars in the proposed sites. The work must be completed within four months of receiving the work order. The last day to submit the bids is November 22, 2023. Bids will be opened on the same day.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) has invited bids to set up 4.5 MW grid-connected rooftop solar photovoltaic power projects on BSNL buildings under the Renewable Energy Service Company mode. The last date for the submission of bids is December 11, 2023. Bids will be opened on December 13. The prospective allocation of solar power capacities in various states and union territories includes Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Jharkhand, Kerala, Odisha, Punjab, West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura.

The Ministry of Power has authorized POWERGRID Bhadla Transmission, a special-purpose vehicle of POWERGRID, a state-owned power transmission company, to set up overhead transmission lines on a modified route to evacuate 8.1 GW of power from the solar energy zone in Rajasthan under Phase-II Part B. The approved re-routed portion of the transmission line, known as the Fatehgarh II PS-Bhadla II PS 765 kV D/C line (second), will traverse through various villages in Fatehgarh and Pokharan.

The top five solar module mounting structure suppliers in the Indian market during the first half (1H) of the calendar year 2023 were Strolar Mounting Systems, Goodluck India, Raydean Industries, ISHKON Industries, and SNS Corporation. The rankings were revealed in Mercom’s recently released India Solar Market Leaderboard 1H 2023, which offers valuable information on the market shares of prominent companies in the industry and presents a comprehensive analysis of their performance.

Convergence Energy Services Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Energy Efficiency Services Limited, has invited bids to select an operator for the procurement, supply, operation, and maintenance of 3,600 electric buses (e-bus) and the development of allied electric and civil infrastructure on gross cost contracting under Pradhan Mantri e-Bus Sewa initiative. The last date for the submission of bids is December 14, 2023. Bids will be opened on the same day. Bidders must submit a non-refundable tender fee of ₹25,000 (~$299.9).
