In the calendar year 2025, 119 GW of solar modules and over 9 GW of solar cell manufacturing capacity were added in the country, according to Mercom India’s State of Solar PV Manufacturing in India 2026 report. Buoyed by large utility-scale project pipelines, residential rooftop targets and ambitious government schemes, India’s solar sector is brimming with opportunities for manufacturers, product suppliers, developers and distributors.
As consumers prioritize quality and brands compliant with regulatory guidelines, companies must differentiate their offerings and strengthen buyer engagement to build greater market visibility.
Mercom India hosts a series of Renewable Energy Buyer-Seller Meets across the country to provide companies with a focused platform to engage with potential partners, showcase their products and innovations, exchange industry insights, and build stronger business-to-business relationships. The curated events bring buyers and sellers together to support collaboration and innovation in India’s rapidly growing solar market.
The next Buyer-Seller Meet in the series will be held in Bengaluru on July 24, 2026.
The meet will offer an exclusive opportunity for installers and distributors to engage directly with selected vendors offering high-quality, locally relevant solar solutions.
Registrations for the event will be open from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
The event will begin with an inaugural session, followed by a panel discussion featuring Kugarthi Raja Kumar, General Manager – Sales & Marketing at Saatvik Green Energy, Suraj Vernekar, Managing Director at Aegeus Technologies, and Ciju Raj, AVP – Channels at Swelect Energy Systems. Drawing on their expertise in solar module manufacturing, robotic solar panel cleaning technologies, and channel development for integrated solar and energy storage solutions, the panelists will discuss how manufacturers, technology providers, and channel partners can strengthen the regional supply chain, improve project execution, and respond to the evolving needs of installers, EPCs, and developers.
A second panel discussion, “Emerging Opportunities in the Distributed and Large-Scale Project Segments,” will feature Anirudh Bhardwaj, Regional Sales Manager – South at GoodWe; Babusasitharan K, Director – Projects at Kintech Greenurja; and Srivatsa, GM – Sales & Technical Operations at GenX PV. Bringing perspectives from the inverter, energy storage, and PV balance-of-system industries, the panelists will examine how technological advancements are enhancing project efficiency, reliability, and safety while opening new opportunities across distributed and utility-scale solar projects.
The event will conclude with a networking lunch, providing attendees with an opportunity to engage with industry peers, technology providers, and potential business partners.
Consumers attending the meet can gain insights about emerging solar market trends and available product options, engage directly with manufacturers and distributors to discuss specific requirements, and compare products based on quality, performance, and pricing.
Sellers can connect with multiple buyers on a single platform, learn more about buyer expectations, competitor strategies, and market trends, and build relationships with industry peers and experts.
