Government agencies issued tenders for 21 GW of renewable energy capacity and auctioned 12 GW across energy storage, hybrid, large-scale solar, wind, manufacturing, green hydrogen, and rooftop solar projects in the third quarter (Q3) of 2026, according to Mercom India’s newly released Q3 and 9M 2026 India Renewable Energy Procurement and Demand Report.
