Waaree Solar Americas, a wholly owned subsidiary of Waaree Energies, has received an order for the supply of 288 MW of solar modules from a U.S. developer and owner-operator of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects.

The order is classified as a one-time contract, and the supply schedule is planned for the financial year 2026–27.

The company has won several module supply orders from U.S. clients this year.

In June this year, Waaree Solar Americas received an order for the supply of 540 MW of solar modules from a developer of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects.

In the same month, the company secured a supply order for 599 MW of solar modules from a developer and owner-operator of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects.

It also won a contract to supply 586 MW of solar modules for $176 million from utility-scale solar and energy storage projects developer Pine Gate Renewables in May.

The company also operates 1.6 GW of module manufacturing capacity in the U.S.

Besides module manufacturing, Waaree Energies is also executing 3.15 GW of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects, with 1.5 GW of EPC work already completed. The company has commissioned 3.03 GW of solar projects to date. Its solar operations and maintenance portfolio stands at 769 MW.

The company has scaled its solar module manufacturing capacity to 16.7 GW and its cell manufacturing capacity to 5.4 GW as of July 2025. It is expanding further by setting up an additional 10 GW of ingot-wafer and cell capacity, and another 9 GW in modules, bringing its full integrated capacity to ~26 GW modules, 15.4 GW cells, and 10 GW ingot-wafer production.

Waaree is also progressing into battery energy storage systems, inverters, and green hydrogen manufacturing, while investing in advanced technologies including TOPCon, HJT, BIPV, and flexible modules.
