Updated – GEDCOL Announces Tender for 16.4 MW of Solar in Odisha

The Green Energy Development Corporation of Odisha (GEDCOL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Odisha Hydro Power Corporation and the state nodal agency for development of solar projects in Odisha, has announced it has tendered 16.4 MW of grid-connected solar at different locations across the state. The scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement and supply, construction, commissioning and operation and maintenance (O&M) of the project for a period of 10 years.

As per a newspaper notification, the tender documents will be available on the GEDCOL website from May 26, 2017.

According to Mercom’s Q1 2017 India Solar Market Update, Odisha had 79 MW of solar in operation and 291 MWs under development.

Update – As per the GEDCOL’s recent notice, the tender document along with detail terms and conditions will be available on the website from June 15, 2017.
