Tenders Invited to Set up 6.3 MW of Solar Projects in Bilaspur Smart City

Bilaspur Smart City Limited (BSCL) has invited bids to set up 6.3 MW of grid-connected solar power projects at Domuhani, Smriti Van, and Ghuru Ameri in Chhattisgarh.

For the first tender for 2.3 MW of ground-mounted solar power project at Domuhani in Chhattisgarh, interested bidders will have to submit an amount of ₹1.2 million (~$15,768) as an earnest money deposit.

The last date to submit the bids is March 26, 2022. Bids will be opened on March 28.

The successful bidder will also have to take care of the operation and maintenance activities of the project for 25 years.

The estimated cost of the tender is ₹126.5 million (~$1.66 million).

The successful bidder will have to furnish an amount equivalent to 10% of the bid value as a performance bank guarantee.

The project must be completed within 11 months from the day of the issuance of the work order.

To participate in the bidding process, the bidder should have executed a single grid-connected solar power project, or ground-mounted solar power project, or rooftop solar system of cumulative capacity not less than 1.5 MW, in the last three years.

Alternatively, the bidder should have executed two grid-connected solar power projects or ground-mounted solar power projects, or rooftop solar projects of capacity not less than 1 MW each.

The bidder’s average annual turnover in the last three financial years should be at least ₹60 million (~$788,400).

The bidder should have a positive net worth on the last day of the previous financial year.

BSCL will sign a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company for 25 years.

2 MW solar project at Smriti Van

BSCL has floated another tender for the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of grid-connected ground-mounted solar power project of 2MW capacity at Smriti Van in Rajkishor Nagar.

To participate in the bidding process, the bidder should submit an amount equivalent to ₹1.1 million (~$14,454) as an earnest money deposit.

The last date to submit the bids is March 26, 2022. Bids will be opened on March 28.

The estimated cost of the tender is ₹110 million (~$1.45 million).

The successful bidder will have to furnish an amount equivalent to 10% of the bid value as a performance bank guarantee.

The project must be completed within 11 months from the date of the issuance of the work order.

The technical criteria remain the same as the Domuhani tender for 2.3 MW.

In the last three financial years, the bidder’s average annual turnover should be ₹55 million (~$722,700).

BSCL will sign a PPA with the Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company for 25 years to procure power.

2 MW solar project at Ghuru Ameri

BSCL has also invited bids to set up a 2 MW solar project at Ghuru Ameri in Chhattisgarh in another tender. The successful bidder will have to take care of the operation and maintenance activities of the project for 25 years.

The last date to submit the bids is March 26, 2022. Bids will be opened on March 28.

The estimated cost of the tender is ₹110 million (~$1.45 million).

Interested bidders should submit an amount equivalent to ₹1.1 million (~$14,454) as an earnest money deposit.

The successful bidder should furnish 10% of the bid value as a performance bank guarantee.

The project must be completed within 11 months from the date of the issuance of the work order.

Last December, Thanjavur Smart City Limited invited bids to set up a 2 MW ground-mounted solar project at Sirajudeen Nagar Sewage water treatment plant in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu.

Earlier, the Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Smart City Corporation Limited had invited bids to install 2.9 MW of rooftop solar projects at various locations under the capital expenditure (CAPEX) model.
