The Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation (TSREDCO) has invited bids to set up two on-grid ground-mounted solar power projects with a cumulative capacity of 1,000 kW under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan Yojana (PM-KUSUM) in Telangana.

The scope of work includes design, supply, installation, and commissioning, using mono-PERC solar modules with sprinkler or water jet system and pipelining for module cleaning, and comprehensive maintenance for ten years.

The last date for submission of online bid documents is March 12, 2024. Bids will be opened on March 15.

The minimum bid deposit is ₹900,000 (~$10,860), while the bid documentation fee is ₹59,000 (~$712).

The two project sites are located at Yellandu, Bhadradri Kothagudem district, for a 200 KW project, and Argonda, Kamareddy district, for an 800 kW project. The tender document states that the land availability at Yellandu is 3.65 acres and 2.99 acres at Argonda.

The minimum eligibility criteria include technical experience in installing at least an 800 kW solar PV project and a minimum annual turnover of ₹45 million (~$543,000) in any of the last five financial years.

The projects must be commissioned within 120 days of the award of work. Milestones include design completion within seven days, supply and structure installation within 45 days, full erection within 90 days, and synchronization within 120 days.

The successful bidder must provide performance and warranty guarantees for ten years for inverters and as per the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) guidelines for solar modules.

The solar modules used should be Mono PERC with 540 Wp to 600 Wp capacity as per MNRE’s latest Approved List of Models and Manufacturers.

Last month, TSREDCO invited proposals for the commissioning of grid-connected rooftop solar projects with a combined capacity of 1.08 MW.

Earlier this month, Maharashtra floated 14 tenders to procure a cumulative capacity of 3,048 MW solar power under Component C of the PM-KUSUM program for feeder-level solarization.
