<p><strong>Origis Energy, a U.S.-based renewable energy company, </strong><a href="https://mercomcapital.com/origis-energy-secures-290-million-financing-for-solar-projects/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>secured</strong></a><strong> $290 million for the Swift Air Solar II and Swift Air Solar III projects in Ector County, Texas</strong>. The two projects have a total capacity of 313 MW. The senior secured debt facilities, which include construction debt, term debt, and a tax credit bridge loan, were secured from Natixis Corporate &amp; Investment Banking and Santander Corporate &amp; Investment Banking.</p>
<p><strong>Tages Capital, an asset manager specializing in private-market alternative investment funds, <a href="https://mercomcapital.com/tages-capital-secures-781-million-in-green-loan-refinancing/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">completed</a> a non-recourse green </strong>loan<strong> transaction worth €671 million (~$781 million).</strong> The funding will be used to refinance its entire portfolio of solar projects totaling approximately 272 MW and to fund project upgrades and repowering initiatives, including capacity increases and the development of electrochemical storage systems.</p>
<p><strong>ACCIONA Energía, a renewable energy company that develops, builds, and operates wind, solar, and other clean energy projects, </strong><a href="https://mercomcapital.com/acciona-energia-sell-solar-wind-portfolio-in-us-and-mexico/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>reached</strong></a><strong> an agreement </strong>with Mexico Infrastructure Partners, an investment firm for the sale of a 49% stake in its 1.3 GW solar portfolio in the U.S., together with the whole stake in two wind projects in Mexico totaling 321 MW for $1 billion.</p>
<p><strong>ENCAVIS, the Hamburg-based solar and wind project developer, </strong><a href="https://mercomcapital.com/encavis-acquires-265-mw-solar-projects-in-italy/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>acquired</strong></a><strong> five solar projects with a total generation capacity of 265 MW </strong>from EDP Renewables Italia Holding, a utility-scale solar and wind project developer and a wholly owned subsidiary of EDP Renováveis. Three of the projects are in the Lazio region of central Italy near Rome, while the other two are in the Puglia region in southeastern Italy.</p>
<p><strong>Potentia Energy, a renewable energy project developer, </strong><a href="https://mercomcapital.com/potentia-energy-secures-552-million-financing-for-renewable-portfolio/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>secured</strong></a><strong> approximately AUD$830 million (~$552 million) in debt financing </strong>for a diversified renewable energy portfolio comprising solar, wind, and hybrid battery energy storage systems. The portfolio includes six projects across Australia, totaling more than 600 MW of capacity. The funding will be used to support the company’s pipeline of utility-scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage projects, including projects currently under construction across regional Australia.</p>
<p><strong>BayWa r.e., a renewable energy project developer, </strong><a href="https://mercomcapital.com/baywa-r-e-secures-416-million-funding-for-jvr-energy-park/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>secured</strong></a><strong> financing for the Jacumba Valley Ranch Energy Park</strong>, which includes 90 MWac/127 MWdc solar and 70 MWac/280 MWh battery energy storage capacity located in Southeastern San Diego County, California. The project is currently under construction following the recent groundbreaking, marking the issuance of full notice to proceed under the construction agreement.</p>

<p><strong>Potentia Energy, a renewable energy developer co-owned by Enel Green Power and INPEX, </strong><a href="https://mercomcapital.com/potentia-energy-acquires-over-1-gw-of-renewable-energy-projects/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>completed</strong></a><strong> the acquisition of controlling stakes in a renewable energy portfolio</strong> exceeding 1 GW across Australia. The assets were acquired from infrastructure investor CVC DIF and superannuation fund Cbus Super. The acquisition also includes shares in Bright Energy Investments, a joint venture with Synergy, owned by the Western Australian state government.</p>
<p><strong>AIP Management, a Nordic-based investment manager in diversified decarbonization infrastructure, </strong><a href="https://mercomcapital.com/aip-management-to-acquire-49-99-stake-in-solar-and-storage-project/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>agreed</strong></a><strong> to acquire a 49.99% equity stake in the 300 MW solar</strong> with a co-located 200 MW/400 MWh battery energy storage Pine Forest project from Clearway Energy Group, a utility-scale renewable energy and storage project developer. The project is in the ERCOT North market region in Texas. The total investment is approximately $200 million. The project is currently under construction and is expected to commence operations in the fourth quarter of 2025.</p>
<p><strong>Greenali</strong><strong>a, a renewable energy project developer, has <a href="https://mercomcapital.com/greenalia-secures-financing-misae-ii-solar-project/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">secured</a> a $295 million construction-to-term loan and $93 million letter of credit facility</strong> from Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group and Nomura Securities International for developing the 430 MWdc/331.6 MWac Misae II solar project in Texas. The project has completed 72% of its construction, with commercial operations expected to begin in the third quarter of 2025.</p>
<p><strong>Electricity and heat producer and supplier PGE Energia Ciepła, a PGE Group unit, </strong><a href="https://mercomcapital.com/pge-energia-ciepla-secures-13-m-financing-solar-projects/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>secured</strong></a><strong> PLN 48.7 million (~$12.61 million) in the form of a preferential loan</strong> from the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management for the construction of seven solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 10.54 MW. The projects are to be built at the company’s six combined heat and power projects in Rzeszów, Kielce, Lublin, Zgierz, Bydgoszcz, and Gorzów Wielkopolski in Poland.</p>
<p><strong>India-based ACME Solar Holdings </strong><a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/acme-solar-secures-%E2%82%B924-91-billion-refinancing-to-cut-debt-costs" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>secured</strong></a><strong> a ₹24.91 billion (~$298.92 million) long-term refinancing facility for 18 to 20 years from the State Bank of India</strong> and REC at a reduced weighted average interest rate of 8.8%. ACME Solar will use the funds to reduce debt costs for its 490 MW renewable energy projects in Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Punjab.</p>
