					</table><p><a href="https://www.ntpc.co.in/media/press-releases/ntpc-green-energy-ltd-ngel-and-hpcl-mittal-energy-ltd-hmel-tied-collaborate" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NTPC Limited </a>has invited bids to commission a 56 MW floating solar power project at NTPC North Karanpura Thermal Power Station in Jharkhand.</p>
<p>The scope of work encompasses the construction of the floating solar project and establishing power evacuation system, including the procurement and installation of solar modules.</p>
<p>The successful bidder must also provide three years of operation and maintenance services for the project and an annual maintenance contract for essential equipment.</p>
<p>The last day to submit the bids is November 17, 2023. Bids will be opened on the same day.</p>
<p>The cost of the bidding document is ₹22,500 (~$270). Bidders must submit a bid security of ₹50 million (~$600,515).</p>
<p>Bidders must have experience designing, supplying, erecting, and commissioning solar photovoltaic grid-connected power projects with a minimum capacity of 40 MW.</p>
<p>One of these projects must have had a capacity of 10 MW or higher and be in operation for at least six months before the technical and commercial bid opening date.</p>
<p>Alternatively, bidders should have developed grid-connected solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 40 MW or higher, including at least one project with a capacity of 10 MW or more, which has been in operation for at least six months before the bid opening.</p>
<p>Additionally, in the last ten years, bidders should have completed an industrial project in the power, steel, oil and gas, petrochemical, fertilizer, cement, coal mining, or any other process industry, either as a developer or EPC contractor, with a value of at least ₹2.7 billion (~$32.4 million). The reference project should have been in operation for at least one year before the technical and commercial bid opening date.</p>
<p>Bidders should also have executed at least one electrical substation with a 33 kV or higher voltage level, containing equipment like 33 kV or higher circuit breakers and power transformers, as a developer or EPC contractor. The substation should have been in operation for at least one year before the bid opening.</p>
<p>The average annual turnover of the bidders for the three most recent financial years must not be less than ₹₹2.7 billion (~$32.4 million).</p>
<p>In September, NTPC <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/ntpc-invites-bids-to-solar-projects-in-telangana" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids to commission a 120 MW ground-mounted and a 56 MW floating solar project at NTPC Ramagundam Super Thermal Power Plant in Telangana.</p>
