					</table><p><a href="https://mazagondock.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders</a>, a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has invited bids for maintaining the 390 kW and 650 kW rooftop solar systems located at its North, South, East, and Anik Chembur yards.</p>
<p>The maintenance contract for the 390 kW rooftop solar system will be until December 10, 2024, and for the 650 kW system, it will be until March 21, 2025.</p>
<p>The last day to submit the bids is February 21, 2023. Bids will be opened the next day.</p>
<p>Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹150,000 (~$1,833). The successful bidders must provide a security deposit of 3% of the project cost and a performance bank guarantee of another 3%.</p>
<p>The scope of work includes monthly cleaning of all solar modules and bi-monthly preventive and corrective maintenance of the entire rooftop solar system and its components.</p>
<p>The cost for supplying, installing, replacing, and commissioning the listed spare parts, with a two-year manufacturer warranty following commissioning, must be quoted per unit. The replacement of spare parts must be supplied within three weeks of notification and must be in line with the existing system.</p>
<p>The contractors must provide 25 kW, 30 kW, and 50 kW inverters with built-in displays from reputable brands such as SMA, DELTA, ABB, KACO, or Waaree, complete with a two-year manufacturer warranty after commissioning, as required.</p>
<p>The contractors must provide high-quality, monocrystalline solar modules with capacities ranging from 250 Wp to 350 Wp and 300 Wp to 550 Wp, complete with a minimum two-year manufacturer warranty after commissioning, as needed. The vendors must quote the unit rate based on either Wp or W.</p>
<p>The contractors must also supply solar DC flexible cables, MC4 connectors, array junction boxes, and a 1.5-horsepower three-phase water pump.</p>
<p>Recently, Military Engineer Services <a href="https://mercomindia.com/military-engineer-services-bids-1-33-mw-solar-projects/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids for developing three solar power projects of capacities 1 MW, 200 kW, and 130 kW at Niwaru, Bhakrota, and Jaipur military station, respectively, under garrison engineer (South) Jaipur.</p>
<p>Another defense undertaking, Troop Comforts, had <a href="https://mercomindia.com/troop-comforts-invites-bids-mw-solar-projects-in-uttar-pradesh/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids to implement 1.21 MW grid-connected rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects at various locations of Hindustan Aeronautics in Uttar Pradesh.</p>
