					</table><p>Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (<a href="https://www.mahadiscom.in/en/home/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">MSEDCL</a>) has invited bids to procure 500 MW of wind-solar hybrid power on a long-term basis from grid-connected intrastate projects with an additional greenshoe option of up to 500 MW.</p>
<p>The last day to submit the bids is April 4, 2024. Bids will be opened on the same day.</p>
<p>The cost of the bidding documents is ₹25,000 (~$302) and the bid processing fee is ₹1.5 million (~$18,125).</p>
<p>Bidders will have to furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹1.1 million (~$13,291)/ MW.</p>
<p>Under this tender, a hybrid power project will mean a project comprising two components – one solar and one wind power project. The rated installed project capacity of either of the two components should be at least 33% of the contracted capacity.</p>
<p>The minimum project size of a single hybrid power project for inter-state projects should be 50 MW and above at one site, and for intra-state projects, it should be 10 MW and above at one site.</p>
<p>Hybrid power projects currently in progress, awaiting commissioning, or already commissioned but lacking a long-term power purchase agreement with any agency and selling power on a short-term or merchant basis are eligible for consideration under this tender.</p>
<p>The wind turbines used in the projects must be type-certified models listed in the Revised List of Models and Manufacturers issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).</p>
<p>The solar photovoltaic modules used in the projects must be included in MNRE’s List-I under the Approved Models and Manufacturers of Solar Photovoltaic Modules.</p>
<p>The tender aims to endorse solely commercially established and operational technologies to mitigate technology risks and ensure the prompt initiation of power supply from the projects.</p>
<p>The bidders’ net worth must not be less than ₹11 million (~$132,919) as of the date at least seven days prior to the bid submission due date.</p>
<p>Bidders must furnish a certificate from chartered accountants certifying the net worth per MW of quoted capacity.</p>
<p>The minimum annual turnover of the bidders should be at least ₹8.22 million (~$99,327)/MW of the quoted capacity during the last financial year.</p>
<p>The internal resource generation capability in the form of profit before depreciation, interest, and taxes should be at least ₹1.64 million (~$19,817)/MW of the quoted capacity as of the last day of the previous financial year.</p>
<p>Bidders should have an approval letter from the lending institutions committing a line of credit for a minimum of ₹2.06 million (~$24,892)/MW of the quoted capacity toward meeting the working capital requirement of the project.</p>
<p>Last April, MSEDCL <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/msedcl-invites-615-mw-across-maharashtra/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">issued</a> multiple tenders to develop solar projects of 615 MW in aggregate capacity split into four different regions of the state.</p>
