					</table><p>Here are some noteworthy cleantech announcements of the day from around the world:</p>
<p><strong>The Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (</strong><a href="https://pserc.gov.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>PSERC</strong></a><strong>) has issued the Renewable Purchase Obligations (RPO) and its Compliance Regulations, 2022,</strong> outlining the renewable purchase obligation (RPO) trajectory for the state up to the financial year (FY) 2029-30. The Commission had previously <a href="https://mercomindia.com/punjab-proposes-wind-hydro-energy-storage-obligation/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">issued</a> the draft in November this year. The regulations will come into effect from April 1, 2023. The state’s RPO trajectory aligns with the Ministry of Power’s recently issued trajectory figures and includes the purchase obligations for Wind, Hydro, Energy Storage, and other renewable energy sources.</p>
<p><strong>Vestas has </strong><a href="https://www.vestas.com/en/media/company-news/2022/vestas-wins-32-mw-order-in-italy-c3689687" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>received</strong></a><strong> a 32 MW order from gruppo De Vizia for the Siri and Deca wind parks, to be developed in the Campania Region of Italy.</strong> The contract includes the supply and installation of four V136-4.5 MW and three V150-4.5 MW, as well as a ten-year Active Output Management 5000 service agreement. Turbine delivery and commissioning are planned for the second half of 2023. The company had also recently received a 108 MW <a href="https://www.vestas.com/en/media/company-news/2022/vestas-wins-108-mw-order-for-a-wind-project-in-scotland-c3688537" target="_blank" rel="noopener">order</a> from Infinergy UK to power the Limekiln project in the United Kingdom and a 126 MW <a href="https://www.vestas.com/en/media/company-news/2022/vestas-wins-126-mw-order-for-derrinlough-wind-project-i-c3688302" target="_blank" rel="noopener">order</a> for the Bord na Móna Derrinlough Wind Project in Ireland.</p>
<p><strong>ReNew Power has </strong><a href="https://investor.renewpower.in/news-releases/news-release-details/renew-power-makes-strong-debut-cdp-ratings-climate-change/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>received</strong></a><strong> a ‘B’ rating from the global environmental non-profit CDP for its actions to cut emissions in its operations and support the development of a low-carbon economy.</strong> The company was recognized for its effective disclosures of environmental impact on its business and for ensuring good environmental management. CDP is a not-for-profit organization that runs a global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, and states to manage their environmental impact. Globally, more than 15,000 companies have disclosed on CDP.</p>
<p><strong>Neoen, a France-based renewable energy producer, </strong><a href="https://neoen.com/en/news/2022/tdf-signs-a-corporate-power-purchase-agreement-with-neoen-for-62-mw-of-solar-energy-in-france/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>announced</strong></a><strong> the signing of power purchase agreements (PPA) with TDF, a digital infrastructure and network operator, for 62 MW of solar </strong>power for 15 years starting January 1, 2026. TDF will purchase the electricity and guarantees of origin produced by the Salernes (16.8 MW, department of Var) and Boussès (45.1 MW, department of Lot-et-Garonne) solar farms. Construction of the two solar farms, developed by Neoen, will begin in 2023, with the commissioning of the Salernes solar farm scheduled for 2024 and Boussès to follow in 2025. Wholly owned and operated by Neoen, the two solar farms will have an annual production of around 83 GWh.</p>
<p><strong>Neoen and Prokon, a renewable energy cooperative, </strong><a href="https://neoen.com/en/news/2022/neoen-and-prokon-sign-a-third-ppa-with-equinix-in-finland-for-at-least-57-mw-of-wind-energy/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>signed</strong></a><strong> another PPA with Equinix, a digital infrastructure company, to provide 57 MW of wind energy in Finland.</strong> This is the third PPA signed by Neoen and Prokon with Equinix, preceded by the Lumivaara and Björkliden wind PPAs; both signed in the past 12 months. Under the ten-year agreement, Equinix would be the offtaker for 60% of the output and guarantees of origin to be produced by the future Storbötet wind farm. Located in the Finnish municipality of Uusikaarlepyy, in the central region of Ostrobothnia, Storbötet will have a total capacity of at least 95 MW, and its construction is scheduled to begin in 2023, with commissioning to follow in 2025. The electricity generated from the wind farm will be injected into the national grid. Neoen owns an 80% stake in the project, the remaining 20% being owned by Prokon.</p>
