SJVN Issues Tenders for 7.15 MW Rooftop Solar Projects in Multiple States

SJVN has issued two tenders inviting bids to set up solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 7.15 MW on union government buildings in multiple states under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.
Bids must be submitted by May 28, 2025. Bids will be opened on the same day.
Bidders must pay a tender fee of ₹5,900 (~$68.82). They must also furnish ₹1,100 (~$12.83)/kW as earnest money deposit.
The scope of work entails the design, storage, installation, testing, and commissioning of the projects. It also includes preparing the site surveys and feasibility reports, and conducting associated civil works.
Selected bidders must provide operations and maintenance for the projects for 25 years. They must also obtain the projects’ net metering and grid connectivity.
Only modules under List I (Manufactures and Models of Solar Modules) and List II (Manufactures and Models for Solar Cells) must be used for the projects.
Bidders must have designed, installed, and commissioned rooftop/ground-mounted or floating solar projects in India with a cumulative installed capacity of at least 500 kW in the last seven years. At least one of these projects must have a minimum capacity of 100 kW. The projects must also have been operating successfully for at least six months.
SJVN-emplaned bidders will only be evaluated for financial criteria.
Tender 1 (2.3 MW)
Projects under this tender will be in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra.
Bidders must have a minimum annual turnover of ₹16,500 (~$192.84)/kW of the total quoted capacity during the last three years.
Tender 2 (4.7 MW)
Projects under this tender will be in Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, Tripura, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Bidders must have a minimum annual turnover of ₹15,000 (~$175.31)/kW of the total quoted capacity during the last three years.
Recently, SJVN issued multiple tenders to develop grid-connected rooftop solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 10.59 MW across government buildings in India’s northern, southern, and eastern regions.
