SJVN Issues 2.4 MW Rooftop Solar Tender in Arunachal Pradesh

SJVN has invited bids to install 2.378 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects at various locations in Arunachal Pradesh under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.
Bids must be submitted by July 9, 2025. Bids will be opened on the same date.
Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹1,100 (~$13)/kW and a tender fee of ₹5,900 (~$68).
Successful bidders must pay a performance bank guarantee of ₹2,750 kW.
The scope of work entails preparing the project’s site survey, feasibility report, and access plans. It also involves the design, storage, civil works (including construction materials and water), installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar projects.

Successful bidders must provide operation and maintenance services for 25 years. They must also obtain no-objection certificates from the state’s distribution company and power department for grid connectivity.
Additionally, successful bidders must ensure a capital utilization factor of 12.5% for the projects throughout the entire power purchase agreement term.
Only modules from List I of the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers must be used for the projects.
All SJVN-empaneled vendors will automatically qualify for the general eligibility and technical criteria.
Other bidders must have designed, installed, and commissioned rooftop or floating solar projects with a minimum cumulative capacity of 500 kW in the last seven years.
They must also have installed at least one rooftop or floating solar project with a minimum capacity of 100 kW.
Bidders must have an annual average turnover of ₹16,500 (~$190)/kW of the total quoted capacity in the past three years.
In May this year, SJVN issued multiple tenders to develop grid-connected rooftop solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 10.59 MW across government buildings in India’s northern, southern, and eastern regions.
